Michael Davis stands at a height of five feet, seven inches. The Ranger's features help tell the story of one coming from the Unova region. Michael's short locks keep a dirty blond hue. His eyes, as he's been told, resemble tiny oceans with their blue and green splendor. His fair complexion doesn't tend to agree with the UV rays of the sun, so when out for long periods, he is adamant about using coral-safe sunscreen. Especially when going to the beach![break][break]

The Ranger walks with a proud, upright posture, keeping his shoulders back and eyes forward. His body type, thanks to his life of farm work and horseback riding, has an athletic build. And, normally, you won't see Michael go anywhere without an air of joy around him that threatens to be quite infectious![break][break]

As a Pokemon Ranger, the man normally wears his issued uniform. The uniform begins with a teal hat with a golden ranger badge, normally sitting atop his unkempt hair. He wears a teal vest on his upper torso, nestled over his gray short-sleeved shirt. Gray cargo pants are kept stuffed in his teal working boots. A black belt with a gold buckle accents the pants that he wears. Finally, he keeps grey fingerless goves on his hands, as he's learned that gloves are essential when in the field.

Michael and his family originally hailed from the Unova Region of the Pokemon World. The man's mother and father moved to a new Region for new opportunities when their son was only five years old. Wanting to escape the busy life of the big city, and wanting to ensure a good upbringing, they came to decide to move to Kanto when Michael was four years of age.[break][break]

Michael Davis was not one of the many who desired to become Pokemon Masters in their youths. Instead, his focus surrounded helping his parents at their family stable. And while Michael didn’t aim to be one of the top Pokemon Trainers, his time with equine Pokemon allowed him to experience the joy that Pokemon could bring. His understanding of the creatures that coexisted with humans only deepened as he worked alongside them.[break][break]

By the age of 16 and through the years into his adult life, Michael continued to stay at the family farm to assist with work. He had a steady job with decent pay. The man's tasks included the training of Horse Pokemon, helping to teach potential horse riders to hone their craft, and ensuring the occupants of the stables were happy and healthy. Just as well, the young man found his calling in his early years with Pokemon competitions. Specifically, those that revolved around the equine flair, such as racing and show jumping. He even won a few championships in his career![break][break]

Team Rocket's criminal activities continued to grow more rampant and bold as the young man's twenty-sixth year was on the horizon. So much so that life in Kanto had grown exponentially difficult. What was once a vibrant Region no longer felt secure. The family came to decide that a change was in order. To ensure their safety and the safety of their Stable's Pokemon, they set a plan in motion to move to Hoenn. In July, the escape from Kanto began. Celebration of Michael’s Birthday occurred during their travels. It would be one month after when the horrified household learned of Kanto’s fall.[break][break]

Three months after Michael's thirty-second Birthday, Hoenn hosted an extravagant Horse Pokemon Competition. The family arrived two days early as to prepare for the upcoming show. Michael, after having completed his barn chores, wanted to see the sights in the next town over. But, while on the route, the equestrian received a phone call from his mother. Through frantic words she explained a Ponyta foal had gotten loose, and that Michael was in the area they believed the foal was headed. The man, filled with new purpose, commenced the search.[break][break]

The sun continued to climb in the sky as hours passed. All the while, Michael hoped the foal was safe and sound. Feelings of discouragement and fear attempted to corrupt his mind. The sudden, terrified whinnies snapped him out of the encroaching gloom! Michael hurried to the commotion as quickly as his feet could carry him![break][break]

The man was both shocked and mortified to find that a pack of hungry-looking Poochyena had the poor foal cornered! Impulse took over, making Michael throw himself between the Ponyta and the predator Pokemon without even a second thought! To him, the foal’s safety was paramount! The protector channeled primal grunts and growls at the now confused hyena Pokemon. The threat display happened to just be enough, as the bewildered predators decided the Ponyta foal was no longer worth the trouble![break][break]

It was this very Pokemon rescue that helped Michael understand his true calling. With the blessing of his parents, he began the application process to become a Pokemon Ranger and was recruited soon after. It was upon joining the Rangers where he was assigned his first Partner, a Charmander, who he named Eimyrja. Filled with resolve, and promising to stop by every now and again to help with barn chores, the new Ranger set forth on his journey into the Pokemon World.

Through Michael's life, there has been a multitude of experiences that influenced his personality. That much is true for every person in the world; a combination of parental teachings and life events, both working in unison to shape one's identity. For better, or worse.[break][break]

Compassionate- Compassion is another term that comes to mind when describing Michael's personality. Perhaps he always had a good heart, and his parents' teachings certainly help. His heart goes out to those less fortunate than him, and he won't hesitate to help people.[break][break]

Friendly- Michael is friendly to those he meets. Although it is sometimes difficult to save face, he does his best to remain amicable. However. He will not be friendly to everyone in different circumstances. Michael can grow frustrated with people who act with ill-will toward anyone, especially those who seek to steal Pokemon or harm them.[break][break]

Determined- When in battle, or when facing significant challenges, Michael has incredible determination. So, despite the odds, he will fight to the bitter end and give everything his all. That said, the Ranger chooses his battles carefully so as not to be headstrong.[break][break]

Kind- Whether friend or foe, Michael wants to share kindness. But, if he were to grow to resent someone, it would be challenging to be amicable toward those in question.[break][break]

Merciful- If anyone were willing to change their ways, Micahel would grow to be more accepting and understanding of them, even offer them forgiveness. In that regard, as well as others, Michael is merciful. He does not hold grudges for long, and all grudges that exist will fade away once he has found the ability to forgive someone.[break][break]

Protective- If Michael takes a liking to someone, or sees they are in need, he will stop at nothing to protect them.[break][break]

Respectful- Since childhood, he was raised to believe that to be respected, one must show respect in kind. But, despite this, he can experience trouble with having respect for people who don't deserve it, in his eyes. These people tend to be Pokemon poachers, and criminals, although he does try to see the good in everyone.

Fiery- Micahel tends to be a person with a level-headed demeanor. However, if one gets on his bad side, or goes out of their way to hurt others, intense emotions will flare. he may not hesitate to call someone out or punish them for their misdeeds.[break][break]

Self-Oriented perfectionist- Nobody's perfect, this Ranger understands that more than anyone. And yet, there are periods of doubt. Sometimes, when experiencing setbacks, Michael may be sucked down a whirlpool of negative emotions, such as feelings of failure. He doesn't enjoy letting himself and others down, especially as a Ranger.[break][break]

Shy- The Ranger likes to imagine he is an outgoing and social person. There will be occasions, however, where his shyness will rear its head and urge him to retreat from interactions. A slight social anxiety lurks underneath the freindly face.
