Ian crawls out of the base of Meteor Falls. There was no point in pursuing the Draconid further into the mountain, not without a full expedition force. He knows his limits.

He stops to rest on a rock. There's a berry tree nearby, so he picks some of its fruits. The juice from the rare Haban berry runs down his chin. Delicious.

That really pisses off a Pokemon from the rustling grass. "Oh?" Ian smirks. "Come and get me, then."

Ian wastes no time when the Axew lunges in with a sharp dragon claw. He ducks the claw, and then calls on his new Cloyster. It's their first time working together, but nothing brings two former opponents together like a common enemy.

He calls on the first name that he has on his mind. "Aphrodite. Freeze them."

Cloyster uses Icicle Crash and knocks out the Axew upon contact. Ian walks over to the fainted Pokemon and inspects his tusks carefully. A dragon would be a useful ally against his true enemies. Ian presses a Pokeball against the Axew.
