from the get-go you're not enough. you're too stupid to be a doctor, too honest to be a politician, too clumsy to even be an athlete. you're pretty good at drawing, and you like to make things, and you run with the theatre club by making set pieces and picking up bit roles, but that will never be enough. and why should you have to conform to anyone else's standards, anyway? you still kinda hate yourself. "julian" is useless, negative, grumpy, unlikeable. "heidi hemlock" is fun-loving, knowledgable, cute. when you're julian, you spend most of your time at home playing video games and ranting to your pokemon. when you're playing as heidi, you put a lot more pep in your step. so you decide to take on the gym challenge... on video, in front of everyone, as heidi hemlock, not as julian brierley. great idea, right?
