Thea smiled to Knight appearing with his fellow Pokémon, and when Baudelaire approached for Hammy, the Pawmo perked up, letting out small sparkles from his pads as he fidgeted excited for seeing his friend. As for Hercules, Zeus only hissed back with a frown, but overall tried to keep his posture.[break][break]

Luckily, today was a day off the Dojo, so Thea didn't bother to try to scold anyone for the lack of Dojo etiquette. Instead...[break][break]

"Very good. So our brand new fighters are... Hercules, Baudelaire, and Hammy!" Thea said, introducing them before bowing. Zeus, Gominha and Belle bowed too, though the Wigglytuff was a bit lazy about it.[break][break]

"We also have a returnee, Kay~" She nudged her cousin with a small giggle, and then smiled. "And for today, we will start to get used to a bit of training. Some simple warm up, exercises, training, and then we end with a brief spar, alright?" Thea explained their class for the day, counting each of the phases with her fingers.[break][break]

Thea held back a chuckle when it was clear that Knight wasn't that excited about the exercises, and while she started giving instructions... Thea honestly went for a light training route. She was more concerned about teaching them how to do very basic exercises and how to warm up and stretch well enough. For those that just wanted to keep a decent shape, it was more than enough if combined with a good diet.[break][break]

Which she hoped that Knight would follow with his Pokémon.[break][break]

Hammy would be a bit distracted by Bau's attempts to talk, and he would joyfully return the conversation. Zeus was taking the training extra serious this time, especially because he needed to show Hercules that he was the strongest pig in the field. Belle was as serious as she usually was, and sometimes she chirped gently at Hammy and Bau to focus on the training. Gominha on another hand, never really liked the exercises, but she still did them in a low-effort way.[break][break]

By the end of the exercises and warm ups, Thea started teaching basics of martial arts to each of them. The stances, and a very few basic blows. "Alright, ten choku-zukis (karate's straight punch) on the punching bags!" She clasped her hands.[break][break]

"Totally friends." Thea laughed a bit seeing the clear rivalry that was building up while Zeus couldn't have a more annoyed reaction to Hercules trying to show off. During the practice, Zeus tried to go all out, even more, while Belle continued her usual self and Hammy was now forced to focus with Bau being away.[break][break]

When the practice of techniques and forms were done, Thea clasped her hands together, catching the attention of everyone in an unorthodox way for a Dojo... But honestly, they were already going way out of the usual norms, so it didn't matter at this point. "Alright, alright. We are done with the practices, so to wrap it up, let's do some spars! But one duo at a time, I will be the referee." She announced. "Volunteers for the first spar, please step in~! The rest can wait on the sides of the Dojo."[break][break]

Hammy eagerly moved— To Bau's direction, chirping a bit and wanting to sit next to his bestie. Belle followed along and Gominha rolled toward wherever Knight was sitting, if he decided to step back for now.[break][break]

Zeus, on another hand, stared at Hercules and oinked loudly, huffing and puffing his snout up, trying to challenge the Pignite.[break][break]

When Knight approached Thea for the spar, she blinked surprised at her cousin. She had a feeling he was going to stay aside and hope he wasn't eventually picked, but as soon as he took the initiative, she beamed. "Yes! Let's do it!" She almost held back the urge to hug her cousin, but it wasn't an official training, so she went for it anyway, bringing him to the center of the Dojo, and lining up everyone. Thea and Knight, Hammy and Bau, Hercules and Zeus, Belle and Gominha.[break][break]

"Remember: It is just a sparring. The first one to land three hits win, blocked hits or partial hits don't count. Let's avoid trying to hit the face, okay?" Thea warned, and turning to Knight, she smiled for a moment feeling so proud about her cousin, but soon she cleared her throat and kept a serious face. "Alright. Otagi ni rei!" She bowed when calling everyone else to do the same, then got on her stance, glancing aside to see if everyone was doing the same. "Shobu hajime!" She announced the start of the spar matches.[break][break]

Thea remained wary of Knight's stance, and she didn't go all out for sure. Still, she wasn't giving him a complete easy time, blocking his attacks when she noticed he wasn't doing it with the proper form but not putting a lot of effort if she noticed he was doing it right, and going for a counter attack if she felt he wasn't holding a proper guard. Essentially, she looked to reward him for proper form, and punish him for lowering his guard.[break][break]

Hammy had a more playful approaching with Bau. If anything, he was feeling joyful about it. It was like a playful fight, more of a 'tag game' where both of them had to touch each other belly... Or at least that was how he was taking it.[break][break]

Zeus on another hand was buffing in anger when Herc retorted his oink, and he stepped forward with a threatening stomp as soon as the match started. Zeus didn't go full all out because Thea strictly said that going for the face was wrong, so instead, he tried to keep his guard as unbreakable as possible... But the Pignite was an opponent he had never fought with before.[break][break]

Belle and Gominha, meanwhile, fought with each other with a neutral amount of seriousness. Gominha didn't really want to lose to Belle, wanting to be a tough older sister, and Belle wanted to show Gominha that her younger sister had grown up a lot... But they also weren't taking it personally like Zeus and Herc.[break][break]

Thea was impressed by Knight's form. Even if she was going 'easy', he was doing very well. She landed a couple strikes, and he landed a couple strikes, which meant it was time for her to step it up... But as soon as she did, Knight managed to land a strike on her without her noticing, essentially catching her off guard. It took her a moment to process that Knight had actually hit her... And when she finally processed it, she beamed. "Kay, you did it! You won!" She beamed, squeezing her cousin in a tight hug and lifting him off the a ground for a bit before placing him down and holding on his shoulders. "That was amazing, great job!" Her eyes were sparkling in joy.[break][break]

Meanwhile, Hammy was completely overwhelmed by Bau's number advantage, letting out quiet chirps and laughs when his belly kept being poked without him even managing to lay a finger on Bau. At the end of it, Hammy had his ears perked up, tilting his head as he rose his hands. It was game over, Bau had won. Hammy congratulated them with a happy squeak.[break][break]

Gominha and Belle's spar was a bit closer, but Gominha was just much more experienced than Belle and she wasn't going easy on her little sister. Soon, Belle found herself going butt-first on the tatami, squeaking and pouting a bit sour about losing. Gominha puffed a bit, happy for her win, but upon seeing Belle's face, she approached, offering a friendly hand for her to take.[break][break]

... And finally, there was Hercules and Zeus, who were fighting so fiercely tied that it was hard to notice who was winning. They kept fighting and fighting, each of them with two hits on each other, but never managing a third and last hit. Thea watched the fight unfold, being very surprised by it, but also... There was a moment the spar time was done, so Thea rose her hand.[break][break]

Yame! Hikiwake!" She gestured sharply, before raising her voice: "Stop! It is a draw! Good spar, but it is a draw for both of you!" She insisted, interrupting them.[break][break]
