Feeling restless, Knight had left his homework behind and decided to go for a little jaunt with his Pokémon instead. Staying indoors when the weather was pretty nice just made Kay feel trapped, he wouldn't be able to focus on anything until he was outside and enjoying himself.[break][break]
He knew it was just putting off the inevitable and he'd have to go back and finish his homework before bedtime but... Well, for now he was happily marching down the path with his Farfetch'd Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth on either side of him.[break][break]
"You know, there are supposed to be bug and water types around here. Do you think we will run into something fun? Something scary? Something worth catching?" Knight mused aloud, and neither 'mon really reacted. Fitzwilliam was busy marching and Elizabeth was trying to catch his eye. It was cute to see but Kay hadn't noticed it yet.

A few steps later and there was a weird sound -- of something hitting wood. Knight frowned and ducked off the path with his ducks (ha) to see what it was and soon spotted the source.[break][break]
A Scizor was punching a tree...[break][break]
Was that some kind of training move or was it trying to attack a Pokémon up the tree or what? Knight was going to sneak off again (since the Scizor seemed to be in a bad mood already) but Elizabeth had other ideas.[break][break]
She darted from their hiding spot and decided to whack the Scizor with her leek, landing a Cut soon after. Knight yelped and followed after her, with Fitzwilliam in tow, "Elizabeth! No! What are you--" The Scizor didn't take kindly to the little duck attacking and struck back with Fury Cutter![break][break]
"Elizabeth, dodge with Agility and then follow up with Aerial Ace!" Knight was impressed by how fast his Pokémon was and the Scizor didn't seem to stand a chance either. No matter how many times he tried to strike the Farfetch'd, she simply dodged out of the way. Fitzwilliam watched the fight unfold but didn't seem to react much.[break][break]
Knight didn't plan to catch the Scizor, but he couldn't help but cheer when Elizabeth finally took it down with another Cut. She marched back over to Knight and Fitzwilliam, pleased with herself. Knight laughed and picked up the Farfetch'd for a quick hug, "Okay you're amazing, but please don't scare me like that again. Isn't she awesome, Fitz?" His other Farfetch'd merely snorted and marched back to the path.[break][break]
While he did feel bad for the Scizor, Knight hurried back with his 'mons and continued on his way.

It wasn't long before they came across another Pokémon -- this one stumbled across the path in front of them, and Knight let out a gasp of surprise. A Brionne![break][break]
"We gotta catch that one! Quick, Elizabeth, use Cut!" The Brionne clearly hadn't been expecting another Pokémon to attack and was wholly caught off guard by the Farfetch'd charging to swipe with her leek. [break][break]
Brionne used Growl but Elizabeth was unfazed, "Finish with Peck!" Knight didn't want to hurt the Brionne too much but making it weak enough to catch was important. Elizabeth landed the hit and the Brionne let out a soft cry, clearly unable to fight back, "Sorry!" Knight did feel bad about the situation but tossed a Premier ball at the water type.[break][break]
It would make a good addition to his growing collection!
