[break][break] it wasn't on a list of things caelan wanted to do today (or anytime in the near future, if they were being honest), but the poor farmer that had set up the whole thing and handed caelan a flyer for the event had ended up on velvet's bad side- including a headbutt as he left, despite caelan's attempts to warn him. so, despite their misgivings, they had decided to go just this once. [break][break] both to make sure there were no hard feelings, and apologize for an extremely aggressive wooloo. [break][break] the journey there hadn't been too bad, but it's the people caelan sees as they come to the top of a hill that makes them stop. the berry fields are big, sure, but from what they can see they're writhing with people. they frown, fidgeting with the handle of their basket, and give a wistful glance back- [break][break] just as dog starts heading down the hill without them, tail flagged behind him. wincing, and inwardly regretting bringing a pokemon- not that dog would have stayed behind anyway- they make their way down the hill.
