If someone had told him when he was younger that he would be living in a treehouse, he would’ve thought them crazy.

He live in a treehouse. Yeah right.

However, things happen, and sometimes his life takes a direction one doesn’t expect. Like him moving away from his homeland of Galar and to Hoenn. That had totally been unexpected.

He had been none too happy about moving to Hoenn. A place where the sun shone a little too much for his taste. Not to mention how hot it could get. Though he could deal more with the heat than the sun,.

It would be months after moving to Hoenn that he would stumble into Fortree while exploring. Never would he have thought he would stumble across another civilization in the middle of a forest. Of course there was a similar town in Galar, so he supposed he shouldn’t have been surprised.

The forested area, with its limited amount of sunlight, reminded him strongly of Galar. So strongly, in fact, that he went out of his way to learn his way around the area, so when he was old enough to move out of his grandparents house, he could move to Fortree.

Now that he had been living in the area for close to two years, he knew the area like the back of his hand. It was why, despite not having spent his formative years in Fortree, he was often sent to help people find their way around Fortree when the occasional trainer lost their bearings.

Unused to any other missions in the area around Fortrees other than that, he was surprised to find not a lost trainer but a slaking problem when he arrived at the mission location.

Eying the loafing, he would turn to Scout, a more recent recruit to the ranger corps. “Have any ideas as to how we can get it to move?”

As someone who had been a ranger longer, he could easily take over the whole operation. However, he wanted to test Scout a bit and see how he worked through problems.[break] SCOUT WILDER
