While working for Rocket had often led to exciting endeavors, where he had ended up had been so dreadfully boring. And after what felt like months of asking to be sent back to the excitement zone, or the danger zone depending on perspective, it seems like he finally got back an answer! [break][break]

But only if he meant with a specific someone. [break][break]

It was why he was now here in front of one of the Underboss' office's. Specifically the one he may or may not have trolled before he was sent off elsewhere. It wasn't a good sign, but the fact that he was here in Hoenn had to mean something right? Something to ponder on as he examined the door. [break][break]

"Whelp! Might as well get it over with," he mutters to himself before knocking, he could pretend to have manners for a bit.

Is the first word that comes to mind as he isn't allowed the satisfactory of the knock, to which he switches gears and knocks on the doorway instead. Be it from spite or just for the satisfaction of completing the action we're up in the air.[break][break]

"Well if it isn't Gavin," He greets excitingly as he does as told and enters. The pressure is easily noticeable and while it was terrifying that the mon didn't even need to be in the room to feel it, there was an excitement in the danger. It was why he wanted back in Hoenn. [Break][break]

"Oh wait no Killian now right?" whether he got the name wrong on accident or on purpose was also in the air as Wright was never a genuine man. Nor was the use of last names for him considering his home county. [Break][BREAK]

"Boy the confusion I had when I was told I had to meet with you and..." he would go on to over talk about the details about coming unless Cillian stopped him now.

"Yes Cillian Quinn, sorry I'm used to the other one, admittedly I'd be mad if people used my dead name too, but I have the luck of those who know it being left back in Unova, where as sorry bossmn but I knew you for years with the other name," he's definitely a talker, man who loves the sound of his own voice so long as people let him have it. Though it probably digging himself a deeper grave was not something he figured was happening here as his explanation went on about how boring Unova was and thanking him for the chance to come back. [Break][break]

"But legitimately I am sorry for the whole hole thing," le gasp he is admitting wrong to it finally. Even if it was just something he figured the younger man wanted to hear, "I was genuinely trying to help, and I hope you'll let me help again?"[break][break]

Wright prattles on. Cillian's will is the only thing that keeps his eyes uncrossed as the words blend.

Limits Wright had quickly learned years ago. He calls back to it now with apology, something Cillian expects but isn't sure how to take. Was it sincere, or pandering?

"So long as your idea of help doesn't include blasting another hole in our submarine." His tone is dry, biting. The sub wasn't usually submerged, these days, but still. "And you'll have to agree to a few... conditions."

Wright just gives him finger guns in confirmation, "Got it boss man," good that's one hurdle done, he could do the rest.[break][break]

Though the other ticks a box and he feels himself so close to going on about the statics of having such a thing happen, that the genesect's power was over what he had calculated and more but he bites his tongue for the first time in this meeting answering with a simple, "That was not the intention as endangering my fellow rockets in such a way is never something I aim for," other ways sure if it was in the name of science, but not drowning.[break][break]

A brow does raise at the condition part of things, curiosity drawn, "And what might those be?"

It did not retract from the damage done. It certainly didn't retract from Wright's subsequent reaction. The mistake had set the fire, but it had been the scientist's words that fanned it into a blaze.[break][break]

He taps his index fingers together, the start of a list, but pauses for questions or acknowledgement before going any further.

With just strokes his chin in though and in his view he shows plenty of respect, yet clearly what Cillian and Yuan saw as respect were different. "Is this the me calling people 'Deedee' thing?" he doesn't recall many ever saying anything about it, or if they have he just didn't care to remember, like their names. [Break][break]

Either way he nods, "I think I can do that well enough sure sure," he acknowledges before he waits for the rest.

The older man just puts his hands up in mock surrender at the pointed look. Zipping his mouth as to solemnly swear never to call the underbosses that. He'll have to see how far that record last to any of the other ranks though. He keeps quiet about the criticism matter as again he things he takes it just fine, but he's allowed here on Cillian's good will and we wants to keep it for more than 30 seconds. [break][break]

The last bit is what breaks him though. [break][break]

"Bi-" bitch is what he wants to say, its the natural response he goes to when its actually upsetting, but by saying so he would already be disobeying condition one. "B-b-biiig guuuy, G-- Ciiiiiillllllian, my boy- my bossmaaaaaan," the news has clearly thrown the scientist off his game for the first time in awhile as he is giving a pained chuckle at the news before his smile finally drops. [break][break]

"Y-you can't be serious? I can't brush up what isn't there my guy, I barely saw battle back in Kanto, the place of literal war and you want to multiply my skills here? Last I checked son 0 times 0 is still 0," he emphasizes this as his hand is in a bog zero. He might be breaking the whole respect thing at this part, but he did say he would work on it and the Underboss just hit a big red button in Yuan that he wasn't used to.

When a pause is at last taken for breath, Cillian says, "That was not a request. If you don't wish to learn so much as basic combat skills, then you can return to Unova where it's safe."[break][break]

At the glare Yuan leans back and just pitches the bridge of his nose at what felt almost like a deal breaker for him. He can't fight worth a damn and he doesn't know how to convince the other differently. Though that's when Cillian hits him with the 's' word and just like that his decision feels like its made for him. Yuan can't go back there, not with people who just reacted and took no incentive because the organization didn't have time to invest into them.[break][break]

"Fiiiine..... fine... fine. finefinefinefine fffffiiiine," he agrees, but he isn't happy about it, "I will try with the whole getting battle experience thing," it feels like it almost disgust him to say the word, but he is smiling through the ideal now that he's gotten over his initial shock of it all. He's bouncing from one foot to the other as he punches the air as if to show off his commitment to this because he needs to stay. Though Cillian would easily be able to tell that his form was all wrong by mere glance alone. [break][break]

"Yeah I can do a fight or two..." he takes a deep breath praying there was no more to the deal as he set his hands on his hips, "Anything else?"

Just as he could see the flaws in Wright's attempt to look cheerful, so too could the scientist easily read the trap in that smile. Like he's signed a deal with the devil.[break][break]
