Many months after the events of VCT, Noel finds himself at the central mall of Slateport City. Quite some time has passed since the tournament, and while he had his fill of fun, it only showed him that he needed to be stronger. However... he couldn't help but think that there were something he needed to do, something he had promised to a certain someone. Oh well, maybe it'll come back to him after some time.[break][break]

He sits on a bench in the middle of the mall, bags sat right beside him on both sides, all full of new clothes and tools. It was about time he stocked back up on everything, he was beginning to run out after so many days spent out on excursions. His Shaymin assisted him as well, carrying as much as it could on its back, which wasn't very much at all.[break][break]

"Just a little longer buddy. Let's head on back home after one more trip for food. I'm getting kind of hungry."[break][break]

As much as his stomach rumbled, truth be told, his wallet was just as empty. Worst case scenario, they'd just have to leave and come back after getting some funds from the League.[break][break]

Warmer weather was rolling in which meant that Victoria had to switch up her wardrobe a bit. Mostly meaning that her heavy leather trench coats, combat boots, gloves would be taking a back seat. But let's be honest, one thing would stay the same and that would be the fact that her wardrobe would remain mostly black.[break][break]

She hadn't found much but she grabbed a few things. Honestly it was mostly new jewelry. Chains, belts, rings, earrings and the like. Oz had flashed her plenty of looks when she got side-tracked but she had ignored him as she continued down her little rabbit hole. Now as they walked through the center part of the mall she realized she was growing pretty hungry.[break][break]

"How does lunch sound?" she asked Oz who huffed in agreement. Tori pulled out her cellphone and began to browse around restaurants that were in the mall they could easily hit up. A low guttural growl from Oz caught her attention. It was barely audible to her but noticeable nonetheless. "What is it?" she asked as she looked in the direction he was facing.[break][break]

Almost immediately her violet hues landed on a familiar figure. The small Shaymin confirming her suspicions as images of her neck and neck battle against the trainer flashed in her mind. "...Shit." she muttered. Now, Tori was by no means someone who was considered 'honorable'. She was a criminal after all. [break][break]

But for some reason she felt entertained by this specific trainer so she figured she could humor herself for a second. She approached with a measured swagger and confidence she usually had. One hand stuffed deep into her jean pockets. "Fancy running into you again." she said as she glanced off in the distance. "Get up. I've got our bet to honor." she said smoothly as she began to turn on her heels expecting the trainer and his Shaymin to follow.
