"I...appreciate your sacrifice, sir. I'll do my best to live up to your expectations." Aqua said with slightly more genuine emotion than they had before. Their opinion on Cilian had shifted in just over the span of one interaction. Maybe it was still a little bit intimidating to be so relaxed and informal near an Underboss, but here they were! The grunt thought about choosing a Pokemon that would be a good candidate, but one that definitely wouldn't be one of his initial team. All of them meant something more than life itself to Aqua. They were so ingrained that to even lose one would mean a hole in their chest. [break][break]

Aqua thought long about his answer, and spoke up after enough time had passed. "I've always wanted a couple species. Dragonite from the books I had when I was little. Or a Garchomp or Tyrantrum something strong! I was hoping to evolve Crush into a Blastoise one day, maybe help him mega evolve! Arceus, it feels like I could list off Pokemon I don't want that would be easier." [break][break]

The grunt smirked, then went back to the question. "Water types, mainly. I kind of do some electric types as well if I need to overcharge a battery to get inside a security system, or one that can get me out of a jam."

There's a wistful distance in Cillian's gaze for a moment as he thinks of the books from his own childhood. He'd named Faolan, his first and most beloved Pokémon, after a storybook wolf.[break][break]

He blinks, and his expression is stoic anew.[break][break]

"Shadows can't Mega Evolve," he cautions, "nor interact with Sygna Suits. So don't choose based on anything like that. They're compatible with the Tera and Dynamax phenomenon, though." Fingers drum against his thigh. "If you're after a Water-type, you're certainly spoiled for choice. Let me know when you're ready, and perhaps I can help you acquire a subject."[break][break]

He had a history of supplying Rocket with Pokémon, particularly for things like the Genesect project.

"Shadows can't Mega Evolve? Good to know." Aqua frowned, looking across at the Squirtle as a part of their team. They did wonder why it was only Mega Evolution that they were barred from, though pushed it out of their mind while thinking of pokemon that would make for a good candidate. Their first thought was something that could deal some considerable damage in a fight, although not so much that they'd be unstoppable if gone rogue. At least Cilian offered them assistance with the matter when the time came. "I'd appreciate the help...eh, s-sir." [break][break]

The Sneasel had gotten its fair share of exercise for the day, and after learning how to swim on its own better, the Pokemon looked pretty exhausted. It was a nice reminder that it would be a good time to wrap things up for the time being. Cilian probably had better things to do. "I think I'm done with the pool for now. If you and your Dhelmise are fine, I'll go ahead and drain the pool now." [break][break]
