The prey in question turns out to be a DHELMISE of all things. The same possessed kelp that had attracted the Pyroar to it with their swaying now attacked the feline with a GIGA DRAIN. This proves to be ineffective, however, as she tears them apart with a FIRE FANG.

Just as the Dhelmise rises to try and RAPID SPIN, the Pyroar slams it down with a DRAGON HAMMER. As the possessed anchor struggles to lift itself back up again, Niola prepares a ball. Then, with one swift throw, she casts it.

As they stroll through the forest, they find a HISUIAN QWILFISH floating in a nearby river. How did it get here? Niola was no expert on Qwilfish, but she thought they were creatures of the sea.

When it notices her and the Pyroar accompanying her, the Hisuian Qwilfish casts them a sharp and nasty glare. Though she had considered stopping to drink some water, that glare alone had Niola reconsider. It certainly wasn't worth the trouble.

SKIPPING ◓

DHELMISE, GIBLE, SCYTHER

The GIBLE seemed to have a penchant for causing trouble. Niola could easily make those types of Pokemon (and people) out. This one, in particular, seemed incapable of keeping itself from writing checks it couldn't cash.

Picking a fight with a Pyroar was often a poor choice. When it spits a bit of DRAGON BREATH her way, however, Takisha was quick to reprimand with a draconic swat of its paw (DRAGON HAMMER). Realizing it's now unconscious, Niola sighs, pulls out an Ultra Ball, and captures the little dragon.

The SCYTHER is a good enough challenge for her Pyroar. It seems to have taken dominion over this part of the Safari Zone. It defends its territory fiercely with an onslaught of AIR SLASHES to try and keep the lioness at bay.

But she is too quick. A few leaps and bounds are all she needs to cross the gap before pouncing down upon the bug with a FIRE FANG. After that, the battle is over almost as quickly as it had begun. Niola pulls out an Ultra Ball to capture their contender.
