JACK WAINWRIGHT

Jack is a simple man who loves to travel. His happy-go-lucky attitude often conflicts with the situations he is in, sometimes leading him to misunderstand the bad intentions of others and think the best of people who may not deserve it. Jack can be loyal to a fault and deeply invests in his relationships, sometimes to his own detriment.

Jack is a lite version of The Fool, lacking the bumbling cluelessness but also naive and lucky. While not pure and innocent, Jack often behaves as a Knight in Shining Armor as he is always looking for opportunities to help others. While not powerful or unique, Jack often plays the role of The Reliable One, there to help move the story along and sometimes looking for A Day in the Limelight.

CURRENT PLOTS

DISSOCIATION: PAMPLEMOUSSE
During the events of Prismatic Penitatiary, Jack was subjected to abuse that echoed deep seated insecurities and past traumas, eventually resulting in him dissociating and the persona of Pamplemousse taking his place. Pamplemousse was created by DESIREE BLOOMS to hide their identities from their captors, but it also gave Jack purpose in getting vengeance on the prison wardens for the horrors they perpetuated. Robbed of his chance for final vengeance, Pamplemousse returned to Hoenn in Jack's place to give purpose to the man's life and take vengeance on his enemies.

This is intended to be a temporary arc with Jack returning to "himself" afterward, albeit changed by the experience.

DEDICATION TO THE LEAGUE
While distrustful of the League leadership, Jack is a dedicated member of the Rangers and strong supporter of the League against Team Rocket. As an Elite Ranger, he is always looking for ways to protect the people and pokemon of Hoenn.
