[attr="class","entry"]Greetings, adventurers! Today, I'm thrilled to take you to a destination that is truly beyond the horizon: the Mossdeep Space Center. Nestled on an island in the Hoenn region, this cutting-edge facility is a hub of space exploration, research, and wonder. Join me as we embark on a journey to unlock the secrets of the cosmos!

To begin our cosmic adventure, we first made our way to Mossdeep City, known for its tranquil beaches and unique blend of technology and nature. The city is accessible by both land and sea, with ferry services from Slateport City and a route connecting it to Lilycove City as well as a teleportation hub and Corviknight taxi service.

As you approach the Mossdeep Space Center the colossal facility seems to dominate the surroundings as it rises against the backdrop of the azure sea. The center is an architectural and engineering marvel that seamlessly blends futuristic designs with the natural beauty of the island. Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed by friendly scientists and trainers eager to share their knowledge.

We were lucky to be given a personal tour by one such scientist, Neffatari Nzingha who works as an Astronomical Observer. Nenet records pictures of celestial objects and uses math and physics to learn more about those objects. I have to say, her big camera at the Space Center is much nicer than the one I use for my photos! Nenet and other scientists also teach lessons at the Space Center's observatory for children and adults, with lessons on different topics scheduled at multiple times throughout the day.

One of the current exhibits at the Space Center is getting quite a bit of attention: the Ultra Space Exhibit. Incredible models of ultra beasts have been constructed by a local Mossdeep artist that are sure to amaze visitors with their realistic depictions of the pokemon. The exhibit and its artist are adding more models as new ultra beasts are discovered so even repeat visitors will have something to look forward to on a return journey.

So whether you're looking up at the night sky with wonder or just wondering what is on the other side of an ultra wormhole, Mossdeep Space Center has exactly what you're looking for!

We're excited to share our experience at Howling at the Moon, a two-story Unovan-style loft bar and dining venue that seamlessly blends a down-to-earth, industrial vibe with a mature charm. Join me as we dive into a world of local cocktails, innovative microbrews, delicious regional specialties, and a lively atmosphere that will leave you howling for more!

Located in the heart of the Slateport Lower District in Hoenn, Howling at the Moon immediately captivates with its industrial yet chic vibe. As we stepped inside, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, even though we were the first patrons to arrive.

We were very lucky to meet the owner of the establishment, Zev Harcourt, and his Rockruff, Luna. Zev even gave us a personalized cocktail recommendation and the "old fashioned" was rich, complex, and smooth. The bartender, Milo, even put on a little show for us! Zev was very knowledgeable about the alcohol, so if you're a cocktail conniseuer then you'll enjoy their drink menu. The star ingredient of our cocktails was whiskey from Lava Ridge Distillery on Mount Chimney and I've already added that to my list of future adventures.

The variety of drinks is equally matched by the variety of food offerings. The expansive menu offers standard bar fare like fried Octillery with sweet chili sauce and barbecue Farfetch'd wings with friends to large plates. One of the specials during our visit was minced Mareep dumplings and a sampler of different fish Pokemon, sliced thin and served raw on a bed of shredded radish. My stomach is growling just thinking about that menu while I write!

Howling at the Moon in Hoenn is a hidden gem that seamlessly blends culinary excellence, craft libations, and a lovely atmosphere. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through Slateport City, this two-story loft bar is a must-visit destination. Howling at the Moon offers an experience that caters to anyone with taste and a sense of fun.
