The starlight and moon made it amazingly easy to see in this open field as they made their way towards the waters.[break][break] "Wow... okay this ticket was well worth it. I never seen anything this tranquil and peaceful before, huh Dizzy?" Zachary asked the Delphox. Hoothoot Nyx remained on his shoulder as he walked. Dizzy looked around too, very comforted by the cool breeze on his normally warm fur. However, soon something appeared in the fox's line of sight as he looked to the back of his trainer. [break][break] The fox's eyes went wide with 'oh no not again...' reaction. "Br-Brak! Bruk! Grrr!" the fox warned, pointing his stick at Zachary's back. [break][break] Zachary turned, confused by his partner's rather loud disruption of the peaceful night."Dizzy, what's wrong? " Zachary asked. Dizzy seemed to be trying to warn him about something. Zachary looked around where he was-- so did Nyx with her sharp eyes-- but both would miss it. [break][break] On Zachary's blue jacket, clinging to the back, was an odd creature of the exact same color, snuggling it like a blanket. Gliiii... it sighed, sleepily. [break][break] Hearing it, Zachary looked over his shoulder-- soon seeing the creature with the pincers, sharp ears -- and poison tail. [break][break] Dizzy covered his ears, knowing what was going to happen. [break][break] "GRRAAAAAAAAHHH!!! BUG!!!" Zachary freaked, causing Nyx to fly up from the shout of fright. Zachary quickly slipped out of his jacket, abandoning the 'passanger' who had clung to his back. [break][break] As he scampered back, he huffed and fought to catch his breath as his abandoned jacket fell to the ground, the 'lump' of the pokemon there clearly present. It moved around, puzzled to what happened. [break][break] Dizzy kept his guard up in the event the pokemon was hostile-- though one could imagine after a scare like that. The lump under Zachary's jacket moved around, almost lost-- till its head poked out. It soon saw Zachary-- and gave a gleefully toothy smile as if to say 'hello'. "Gllliii!" [break][break] Happy, who had been there too, calmed Zachary down, but also looked to see the blue colored Gligar too-- and cocked his head at him. [break][break] Now curious, and calmed down a little, Zachary took out his Pokedex to read its information. [break][break] [break][break] A tremble still shook on Zachary's limbs. It wasn't technically a 'bug' type-- but it was bug like enough. Gligar still blinked at Zachary, almost confused by his petrified state. Gligar soon tried to approach Zachary, wrapped in his jacket-- but Zachary scooted a bit further away, alarmed by the creature and its poisonous nature. If normal bugs just made him scared-- poisonous ones made him go on fight or flight instincts. [break][break] Knowing Zachary was struggling, Happy intervined as the little clown approached Gliger. "Mimi-mime!" the mime greeted, giving a cheerful smile and seemed to talk to him. Gligar cocked his head at the mime, but soon cheered too-- accepting the greeting and showing to be a more friendly pokemon-of-prey. [break][break] As Dizzy joined Zachary, urging his partner to stand, Zachary soon recovered enough to get his mind and body intact. With a deep breath, Zachary dared to get closer, behind Happy. "Um, hi there. Why did you cling to my jacket like that?" Zachary asked. [break][break] Gligar simply answered by snuggling up to the jacket like a blanket, loving its color and warmth. Perhaps it was cold and it found it comfortable. While Zachary loved his jacket too, seeing the little critter wrapped up in it, made it far less vicious than the pokedex made it out to be. "Well, it is a cold night. I guess I can let you borrow it, okay?" Zachary offered. [break][break] "GLII!! " Gligar cheered with a happy tone, sticking his tongue out in an odd show of gratitude. [break][break] "Um... your welcome?" Zachary asked, though the night air was chill, it didn't bother him in this summer month. While he was still wary of the odd scorpion pokemon, it seemed a friendly one who just wanted some warmth and happiness. Happy of course gave a cheer, greeting the little guy. [break][break] As Zachary and the others returned on-- the Scorpion pokemon still waddled behind them, Zachary's jacket still wrapped around its adorable blue form. [break][break]

Zachary continued to walk with the others. While Dizzy's makeshift torch with his stick provided some warmth, the cool air did prick at Zachary's arms for the lack of his jacket...[break][break]... while Gligar followed behind, dragging his jacket around like a security blanket. He was going to have to get it washed after this. [break][break] As they walked and got close to a river-- they soon found an odd sight. An odd colored pokemon spun around slowly under the moonlight. It was responding to the same music that could be heard in the distance. As the song continued, its source unknown-- the light-colored top spun. But it was no top. It was a pokemon. [break][break] "Oh, wow. A baltoy! I never seen one like that before. It looks so cool!" Zachary said to his friends as they saw the top. [break][break] Curious and interested-- Happy the Mime Jr, soon jumped in. Despite the levitating, Happy gave a cheer as it soon began doing what he did best. [break][break] Mimicing it. [break][break] Happy began to spin slowly, going fast--slow-- then fast, trying to keep up with the odd pokemon's movements. [break][break]Soon realizing it was not alone, The Baltoy stopped, and its 'blank' face turned to Happy, giving it its attention now. Happy soon stopped, wobbling a touch dizzy from his spinning. Upon seeing Baltoy, the happy Mime gave a cheer of a greeting. [break][break] "Always can count on Happy to find new friends," Zachary shared.[break][break] As Happy soon began to chat up with the spinning relic pokemon, Gligar soon saw it. In a cute display-- he began to try and spin around too. [break][break] Only to get the jacket wrapped around him, and soon fell over, tied up in the twisted jacket. Dizzy looked down at the blue Gligar, wrapped up like a straight jacket. The fox shook his head, finding the scene silly. [break][break] Zachary approached the Baltoy, and knelt down, showing his interest. "Hey there, fella. You look amazing. I bet you got lots of fun secrets you can share with us. THink you wanna show us around too? Can you maybe show us where that song is coming from?" [break][break] The baltoy looked at Zachary blankly, with no real feature to answer. However, it began to spin in the air again-- and soon stopped, pointing a hand to the direction of the 'false' ocean. [break][break] Zachary smiled, finding the 'scrying' pokemon being a fun thing. "Hehe... that's a great gift, Baltoy. Wanna come with us?" [break][break] They began once again to follow the river to the source of the music... with Dizzy dragging the wrapped up Gligar in zachary's jacket behind him. [break][break]

Zachary continued to follow the spinning Baltoy-- its beautiful color made it stand out easily in the night time, almost as if it was glowing. By now, Gligar also untangled himself from Zachary's jacket, able to now walk again now that Dizzy let go, though still watching the oddly giddy scorpion. Gligar seemed to be drawn to Zachary-- perhaps the similar love of color, as the Gligar was a midnight shade of blue. Zachary's kindness easily drew in pokemon, accepting their unique personalities. [break][break] All the while, that music continued to haunt the night. It was perplexing Zachary where it came from. Baltoy seemed to be leading them to it-- supposedly. After all, it would slowly spin like a top for its own pleasure. [break][break] "It sure loves to spin around," Zachary said to the others. Nyx on his shoulder gave a pleasant hoot as she flapped her wings, watching the Baltoy with unblinking eyes, and a cocking head. [break][break] They soon passed by a stream-- where a Horsea poked its head out and squirted a small fountain of water to greet them. Everyone gave a happy greeting-- but Dizzy stepped back-- not wanting to get wet. [break][break] The more Zachary walked with them, the more at ease he felt with these pokemon-- even the poisonous one following close behind him. [break][break]

Part from Zachary's phobia, but partly fascinated due to its unusual color-- Zachary kept looking at Gligar. And Gligar still would look at Zachary, having a fond interest in the human trainer. It luckily wasn't as 'feral' or 'predatory' as the pokedex said. As they stopped, Happy mimicking Baltoy's spinning-- Zachary stopped near the webbing rivers along the planes, to look to Gligar. Dizzy stood nearby, seeing Zachary interact with the 'pseduo insect' type Pokemon. [break][break] Zachary leaned closer, once again remembering his time with @shalinnaryia regarding how to interact with bug types and not to be scared with them. "Hey, buddy. Um, I'm really sorry for being scared. But why did you climb onto my back like that?" he asked. [break][break] Gligar just cheered happily as he snuggled Zachary's jacket around it, looking like a caped devil with how it looked, despite how small it was. [break][break] "You liked the color? I guess, it does suit you very well. Can't blame you. It's my favorite too. Keeps me nice and warm," Zachary explained, the Gligar still looking at Zachary with interest and listening to him. [break][break] "I wish I could give it to you but its mine too... But... Well, guess what I'm trying to say Gligar is... do you wanna join me as my pokemon? If you want to of course..." Zachary asked, allowing Gligar to be with him. [break][break]Gligar's face lit up with joy and excitement. He soon danced in Zachary's jacket. Just as Zachary smiled with the clear joy on the pokemon's face-- Gligar jumped up and...[break][break] BOINKG! Overly excited, Gligar flew right up and into Zachary-- its membrane wings and body eclipsing Zachary's face with an all-too suffocating hug. [break][break] "BRRR_RRRAAA!?" Zachary cried, muffled by Gligar over his face. Dizzy's fur stood on end as he saw Gligar hug Zachary's head-- which would of been misinterpreted as an attack if not for the happy smile on Gligar's face. "MMRRRPH--GLIGAR!! MRk-YOU-GET-OFFPH... WHAAA!" Blinded and unable to see, Zachary moved around till he knocked into something hard-- the size of a boulder.[break][break] Zachary tumbled over-- knocking Gligar off his face as he fell. Dizzy rushed over to find Zachary on his back against the grass. "Ow... that hurt... Gligar, you can't--huh?" Zachary began to shout but was distracted as the thing he tripped over suddenly moved. He looked to find it was indeed a rather large, oddly shaped 'rock' of sorts. However, it wobbled as it soon looked to have a kind of mis-shaped face. And then it happened. It 'levitated' upward, as if it had woken up. [break][break] "A... Pokemon?" Zachary asked. [break][break] The floating rock seemed to make a series of 'grumpy sounds', but loomed closer to Zachary curious. "Sorry! I'm sorry... I didn't mean to step and trip on you. Were you napping?" Zachary asked. [break][break] The rock floated in front of him and seemed to look over with its unusually unanimated face. It was very similar to the Baltoy as it floated there. However soon... it began to become transparant-- as if the stone was crackling off. [break][break] As Zachary didn't project a single bit of hostility towards the pokemon, it sensed it and 'lowered its guard'. [break][break] A face appeared as the 'dust' disperced-- revealing a glittering black surface of rock, with multi-colored jewel-like objects on its body. It sparkled like tera shards as it hovered-- two swirling eyes looking at Zachary, almost smiling. [break][break] Zachary was in awe of the creature, seeing as it appeared before him like that. Gently, Zachary reached up and touched the creature, patting it on its head. [break][break]Gligar also looked in awe, its tongue out. While Zachary was looking with amazement at such a cosmic pokemon-- the Gligar must of been thinking it looked like a lawbreaker, and drooled. [break][break]

Surrounded by the new pokemon--the music began to appear again, this time louder. They were close now as they searched for its source. However not all was happy to hear it. As Zachary, and his old and new friends looked for the source of the song, someone was unhappy-- woken by a nap. Another bug-type, and this one was grumpy as it erupted from the ground, chattering in front of them and snapped its 'fangs' at them. [break][break] "OH no... Zachary flinched, frightened by the bug pokemon that looked like it could bite his fingers off. Dizzy gave a scowl at the bug, annoyed by it as it drew his stick and set it ablaze. [break][break] TRapinch charged in an attempt to use CRUNCH on Dizzy. However, Dizzy flew upward-- using Psychic to evade the attack. Once he was in the air, he used Mystical Fire to cause a blaze around the insect. [break][break] Howerver the Trapinch was not something to take lightly. In that moment, it soon dug its pincers into he ground. The ground began to rumble as earth heaved upward. The very hills almost seemed to roll. "Oh no! Earth Quake! " Zachary cried. [break][break] The music was drowned out by the rumbling as everyone panicked. In the chaos Trapinch ran-- but its earthquake still continued to rock the terrain. [break][break]Gligar shouted in alarm as he ran around with Zachary's jacket, panicked. As did the other pokemon. Zachary quickly tried to rally them and get them to higher ground-- but soon he was faced as if one of the hills-- became like a wave, and a torrent of earth erupted in front of him. [break][break] "GHAAAAA!!" Zachary cried as the avalanche of earth sent him flying-- sending him towards the edge of the field-- and into the manmade ocean. [break][break] The large splash showed him hitting the water, in a rather loud splash-- as rocks also fell with him. [break][break] Zachary felt himself drift down, tangled in debris and confusion as he soon felt the water rush his lungs. Everything was dark as he struggled, swimming not being an easy thing for him as he was surrounded by rubble.

[break][break] In the distance, the source of the song sang-- but soon noticed the disturbance. It saw the violent eruption, and the splash of something enter the water... unable to surface. [break][break]

From the end of the shore, basking in the stars and sunlight, she sang. An adorable little, deep blue Popplio, sang a soothing song, up to the stars above. She enjoyed singing, and knew she had an enchanting voice. But she kept to herself that night. Many pokemon were put at ease with her singing, and she didn't mind if others heard her. But she was now by herself and singing out to the night, unafraid. [break][break] However-- as a rumble shook the ground, she looked-- to see a young boy with blue hair and clothes-- fall into the water several meters away! Her song stopped as she saw the boy fall with the ruble of a nearby Earthquake, and from where he fell... there was no sign of him resurfacing.[break][break]

[break][break] Zachary was surrounded by the water as he struggled to swim up-- but the rocks and dirt made it far more difficult. Unable to get anywhere, he reached for his pokeballs-- to get out Cetus his Milotic. However as he reached, he couldn't feel them. Zachary's eyes widened, alarmed. OH no... His mind went back to the Gligar who had grown attached to his Jacket, wearing it wrapped around him. His pokeballs were kept in its pockets. He left it with Gligar! [break][break] He struggled more to get out, but the pull of the rocks was dragging him lower and lower to the seabank. He struggled, and fought to swim, but he was soon running out of air. His vision slowly grew blurry... and his lungs burned with the need for air. His limbs slowed down, as he felt he couldn't hold out much longer...[break][break][break][break] Zachary soon heard a sound, soft and elegant above him. It was clear under the water. [break][break] As he dared to look up, he saw the glow of moonlight-- along with a figure swimming down towards him. At first he thought it could be Dizzy... but it was too swift and too small to be. He was growing more and more delirous as his brain lacked oxygen...[break][break] Swimming down as fast as she could, the brave Popplio soon got as close as she could, seeing the boy as blue as the sea and night sky. He had already stopped moving, urging the little seal to swim faster. [break][break] Seeing the unmoving human, Popplio expelled bubbles from her nose-- rushing them to Zachary. What air they held, soon kept him from drowning-- and what was around him, kept him from sinking further. [break][break] As rocks and earth drifted around them, Popplio soon grabbed hold on the helm of Zachary's shirt. Using all her strength, the little seal began to pull him back to the surface. [break][break] Popplio raced as fast as she could, dragging Zachary behind, to return to the shore, spurred on to let the boy live. [break][break]

Back on the shore-- Dizzy already was in a panic! He and the others of Zachary's Pokemon saw their trainer fall into the water, and not re-emerge. Unable to wait, Dizzy quickly rushed over to Gligar. Clinging to Zachary's jacket, the Gligar gasped as Dizzy used Psychic to lift the coat off of him-- and quickly reached into the pockets to get out Zachary's Pokeball. Finding the "III" containing Milotic-- he was now fumbling to try and get the pokemon to come out. He almost got it expanded till--[break][break] SPLASH!![break][break] The sound of something emerging from the ocean caught their attention. Hoothoot and Happy looked to a stone outcropping of the shore-- finding a Popplio pull a large object from the water. [break][break] Zachary! [break][break] They gang of Pokemon quickly rushed over, intending to help their trainer. [break][break] As Poplio dragged Zachary onto the stone shore, she looked at him-- seeing he was not breathing. She was both fascinated by him-- and concerned for him. It was in that moment, Popplio inhaled, and jumped upon the boy's chest. It soon pushed to his face and 'kissed' him, trying to inhale air into him. The poor little Popplio didn't get a response, but soon did something unexpected. [break][break] As the other pokemon joined it-- they soon saw Popplio on the boy's body, glowing. Dizzy was about to snap at her to stop -- but soon Happy stopped Dizzy, urging him to wait. [break][break] Suddenly Popplio raised her little flippers and glowing water appeared their. It soon dropped onto Zachary, giving him a mysterious blue glow. Life Dew.[break][break] After a moment the light glowed on him-- "GHHHAAA!!--*Cough-cough-cough*" Zachary jumped up, coughing a fit as he expelled what water he had in his lungs. [break][break] His pokemon gasped and cheered, glad to see their trainer was still alive. Zachary's head was foggy as he sat there, trying to make sense of what happened. As he felt Dizzy and his other Pokemon embrace him, he rested in their embrace as it came back. His eyes soon came to his legs-- seeing a happy little Popplio perched there. It wagged its tail and wobbled between its flippers eagerly to see the young boy was okay. [break][break] "Y-you... You saved me? " Zachary asked. Popplio barked happily, giving a happy cry as it crawled up Zachary a little more. Zachary smiled in return, glad to see such a friendly seal pokemon. "Wow... Thank you Popplio. Zachary said kindly as he gently reached down and sought to scratch the pokemon near the ears. [break][break] Popplio soon pressed into Zachary's carress. She looked up with big, watery eyes as she felt happy seeing the young trainer. It was in that moment, Popplio jumped up onto Zachary's chest further-- planting a big kiss on his face. [break][break] "BLLLWWAAH!" Zachary gasped as he fell back on his back-- his other pokemon surprised and startled by such a show of affection. After which, Popplio nuzzled his head, showing how taken she was with him. "P-Popplio! Hahah! Stop, it, That ticktles. It's okay! " Zachary laughed, glad he was alive and surrounded by all his pokemon. [break][break] As Zachary recovered, he now had new friends with him, as well as his old pokemon-- who all cared so much for Zachary. It was in those special moments, Zachary knew how much his Pokemon cared for him. It made him happier than he ever knew... And was saved, by a loving Popplio who loved to sing to the stars... [break][break]
