Pausing to look at his watch, he saw that it had been a few hours since he had been training. He had started his routine in his room in the early hours of the day, just a bit before dawn, before moving to the training room. Since then, he has been lost in the rhythm of his training regime.

He always trained every aspect of his skills, not wanting any of them to get rusty, even if the likelihood of that was slim to none. Even without assignments, he was an active person; sitting idle was only something he did when he needed to meditate.

However, despite all that, he knew how to pace himself. He knew when he was reaching his limits and when he needed to take a break, which was why, despite having been at it for a few hours, he wasn’t about to take a break. Checking the time was more to see how much longer before the training room became filled with people.

After ten years of solitude before joining Rocket, he didn’t like being crowded, so usually, when multiple people came in, he would leave and go somewhere else to finish his training. Usually, somewhere, he wouldn’t be interrupted. However, today he had no plans to do this; he hoped to get a glimpse of the way other people trained to understand other people better.
