If time warps were the missing factor, was it because of the energy they put out/created or was it because of there was some innate need to manipulate time in order to manipulate the space of their reality? Could it be that pulling things from dreams meant pulling the requisite materials from some point in time? [break][break]

This went from theoretical to real far too quickly - but their ability to answer their questions relied in getting a reliable source for time warps. [break][break]

Her eyes narrow at what's creatively left out, but she doesn't pick the issue. She would do it again, but successfully, if given the opportunity. It had looked like the ship was going to split or crash or otherwise face destruction, and she wanted to keep the child from that fate when it could be valuable. [break][break]

"Kind does not mean cooperative," she insisted, though she wouldn't say that the youth was as kind as she was... soft. "But yes, reports await us. I hope we can harness that time distorting power before long and put some theories to the test." Today had been the most productive day in dream research in Ameena's career - and, with any luck, it would sit in the shadow of one to come.
