Saria gently extended her other vine, returning the Grookey's gentle poke with one of her own. "I didn't," the girl replied, she and her Venusaur both glowing a faint green from the physics-defying Infinity Energy keeping her balanced on the vine's hard bulge at its tip. It was a true spectacle to see. "Is this your first time seeing a Sygna Suit?" she asked, without even acknowledging the sheer side of her personal army, navy, and air force.

Little did she know that this would be the last time she would be able to see most of her Pokémon before her life as she knew it was flipped upside down. She wouldn't get to say her goodbyes before being separated from her team before months on end...

With how many questions Vespa was asking, Shalin for a moment felt like she was a professor herself. In a way, she was; while she wasn't a true expert on Infinity Energy, she understood Sygna Suits well enough to be able to teach other trainers about them. "A Sygna Suit is the physical manifestation of the pinnacle of a bond between Trainer and Pokémon. They only work between ones whose bond has achieved near perfection. We don't have to say a word to know what each other are thinking. Powered by Infinity Energy much like a legendary Pokémon, you and your Pokémon share part of each other. You have a part of your Pokémon within you, and your Pokémon has a part of you within them."

On the topic of superpowers, Shalin smiled. "In a way, it does bestow upon me powers. Though they don't have the efficacy of the Pokémon's original attacks, I can use them, too." To demonstrate, she took one hand off the end of Saria's vine, a smaller Venusaur vine growing from the palm of her hand. With a vigorous swing, she cracked the vine much like her large Pokémon would a VINE WHIP, complete with sonic boom and shock wave.

Once Vespa asked about her Pokémon and not her, Shalin smiled, having explained this to many Rangers, as well. "Ever since Space-Time Distortions started showing up, abnormally large Pokémon have been far easier to find in Hoenn. I've been... studying them and collecting Pokémon from them. They tend to be more ornery than most wild Pokémon, but they're worth raising if you can handle them." It was part of what made what she was about to showcase with her suit possible at all.

"Kind of! You'll get to see that aspect of it when I switch sync to the other Pokémon my suit's attuned to!" she grinned, excited to show both halves of her unique bond with her team. That grin slowly turned sour as Vespa inquired about how to get a suit. "There's... a lot to it. First off, it requires a near perfect bond with the Pokémon you want to sync with. Second, the raw materials needed to craft one are rare and exceedingly expensive. I only was able to craft mine due to a windfall when exploring some long-lost Hoennian ruins. Not many people have them. It requires both a lot of money and a lot of time."

It was a good thing the suits were so exclusive, too; the powers they bestowed upon them and their Pokémon made them able to go toe to toe with an Avatar. If she ever crossed paths with Elisabeth Fiorelli again, the Underboss would be in for one nasty surprise... in theory.

"They do let you do some truly extraordinary things!" she bragged, retracting her personal VINE WHIP and holding onto Saria's gigantic vine with all four limbs. The Venusaur extended her vine and began swinging it while Shalin was still atop its business end. Faster and faster it spun, whipping up a mini-whirlwind in its wake. Venusaur and rider both glowed green, Vespa perhaps able to feel the flow of Infinity Energy if she was sensitive to it. "Alright, Saria, POWER WHIP!" the brave Ranger cried, though she may have been hard to understand...

With every loop Saria took Shalin on, she continued to accelerate. At her trainer's command, the Venusaur bellowed and swiveled sharply, sending a giant pulse down the vine. With a heaven-rending crack and a green brilliance almost too bright to look at, she flew in an impossibly fast circle, her body crashing through the sound of her own whoop. Not even her eyesight could keep up; by the time her senses could "render" the next image, she had already completed an entire loop. Letting gravity take over, Saria allowed the vine's momentum to run out, giving her a chance to catch her breath before winding up for the next lash.

And catch her breath she needed; after the third crack of the POWER WHIP, she looked spent, her legs wrapped around its now-still business end in a daze. Even she could not bring the appropriate words to her mouth; suit or no, that vine was fast. Saria herself looked proud of her trainer, who had come a long way from the day she first used her suit in this way with wren rourke .
