Shalin Nariya A free soul who wants no less than to see every nook and cranny of nature Hoenn has to offer, she much prefers to travel in the saddle rather than walk. The rowdier her partner, the better! Badges: None Dungeons Completed: None Chronology: Home Away from Home feat. @laskt - Shalin's triumphant return to the Hoenn region started with checking on the status of her Secret Base in Petalburg Woods, alongside a good old-fashioned bug hunt. Above Oldale Delta - Shalin had forgotten to clear a Water-type Pokémon through customs before coming to Hoenn! Oops! She set out to the marshy river delta to fix that... Unfortunately she came away with a Sizzilpede she only captured to protect Flit from an incoming Fire Lash attack. Three Trainers, One Island, Zero Braincells feat. ollie morales and Isaac Merlo - Shalin had forgotten to bring a Water-type Pokémon with her to Hoenn! No problem; she would just take a plane to an island in the southeastern sea and catch one there...except the airline put her bag on the wrong flight! It was her and her Pokémon against the wilds for an entire week... The Lion, the Mouse, and the Daycare feat. Julia Davis - Shalin had discovered the arcade she was meeting Josh Devlin at had a strict "No Pokémon over 18 inches permitted inside" policy, and Kiara wanted attention! She dropped her off at the daycare just east of Verdanturf before heading away to Mauville proper to meet her home-region friend Josh for a good old-fashioned dance-off. In the meantime, Kiara would garner attention one way or another... Between Errands - After an exhausting day at Mauville's Round One arcade, Shalin was on her way to pick up Kiara from the Daycare, and kept on the lookout for a wild Pokémon to catch and make her own. Trailblazing to the Cosmos feat. Yvaine Varron - Shalin's journey to the ends of Hoenn has begun! She had heard of a potential Dungeon that was nestled deep within the heights of Meteor Falls, well beyond the traveled roads. The lack of a beaten path has never stopped her before, though! Have an Ice Trip! feat. viorel whitmore - Shalin, in search of an Ice-type Pokémon to add her team, headed into Shoal Cave, the only place in the region where Ice-Types made their natural habitat. In an effort to keep warm, she accidentally melted the only way into the cave's main tunnel! The ice bridge collapsed on her, her belt and bag coming undone! She tumbled down an ice slide to the domain of an Alolan Ninetales. If she wanted to leave with her life, she would need to take down with her bare hands the Pokémon she wanted to catch... Easy Breezy feat. Ashley Shepard - Shalin had discovered her Secret Base in Petalburg Woods was intact but in need of renovation. She planned to pick up some décor for it in Petalburg after taking Kiara to the Pokémon Center, but Flit had other plans... On Your Mind feat. symon blessing - Shalin, still on the trail for a Water-type Pokémon, hit up Slateport Beach. Normally she would be hovering above the seas on Flit's back, but a noise ordinance forbade her from flying on the Yanmega within city limits! This would be a great opportunity to take Tari for a spin... LEVEL-1: Braviary's Nest feat. Alexei Ivanov - Shalin was ready for her first dungeon. Her target was a rugged peak known as Braviary's Nest, isolated from the rest of the Fortree area by impossibly rough terrain only a very agile Pokémon could navigate. Space-Time Distortion #8 - Shalin was about to venture into the Shark's Maw atop Meteor Falls when a Space-Time Distortion surrounded its peak! While she was able to evolve her Stantler into Wyrdeer, she had to do so while avoiding the ire of an Alpha Garchomp and Alpha Druddigon! Wild Child feat. THEO BECKETT - Shalin bit the bullet and took a ferry to Dewford Town, the beaches and shallows of which contained an abundance of Water-type Pokémon. Perhaps this is where she would luck out with a good aquatic catch she could return to the mainland on... Undeciduous feat. Tam Fawley - Shalin had returned from the Braviary's Nest with a huge haul! She was on her way to Lilycove to share her knowledge with historians, when... LEVEL-2: Seviper's Remains feat. Nanette Sanguine - Shalin's next misadventure would be the exploration of a remote wetland she suspected rare Pokémon would be at! She had also heard of a gigantic Seviper carapace preserved in a secluded corner of the wetland, seemingly immune to the passage of time... One of Body and Mind feat. Callan Young - It felt good to sleep in a hotel bed for once! Shalin decided to spend a few days in modern comforts before her next journey to a far corner of Hoenn. She decided to detour to a park to refine her skills with her Wyrdeer, in an effort to dodge the morning rush at Lilycove Department Store, as she had a lot of supplies to pick up to prepare for her next expedition... LEVEL-3: Crystal Trench feat. Altagracia Contreras - Shalin was as prepared as she could be to take a new client to the deepest above-water point in all of Hoenn: the Crystal Trench. It was an underground tower of ice located in the depths of Shoal Cave. The two would be on their own; it was an official no-Rescue zone from the Mossdeep Rangers. LEVEL-4: Epoch Ruins feat. Ashley Shepard - Shalin was ready for a true test of her dungoneering skills. She invited her friend Sawyer to meet her at a ruins site in Hoenn's Great Desert, well-known for its devious traps... By Spitting and Rising Fires feat. Elaine Highland - It was a really warm night as Splashfest was starting to wind down for the night! Kiara wandered the beaches with Shalin in tow, noticing a lonely girl on the beach. The Pyroar convinced Shalin to keep her company... Evolution Inquisition feat. Eva Morales - Shalin had received a referral from Callan Young to Dr. Eva Morales' lab for help with identifying Prance's evolution. Thread Status Legend: Solo - This is a solo thread.
