When she first taps into this world made of data and detached consciousness, she sees no obvious differences from the scenario she's seen before. Only differences from when she was moving about the room in real life just moments ago.[break][break]

The bandages don't show, neither do the new murals of red that flay her skin. There is no pain in her movement, only a dull ache in the back of her mind that reminds her each time she takes a step. Freeing, for however long or short of a time she'll spend in here.[break][break]

The scene is still a grand blank canvas, tainted solely by a shiny rock that has wormed its way into it. The first sign of misfortune, a foreign body that will no doubt plague this world.[break][break]

Regardless of how she feels, she must play along if she wants to progress.

A new deviation in the RKS Machine, she knows, but she cannot help asking. A gym? She'd never once fathomed becoming a Gym Leader. She cocks her head, trying to picture what her own gym might look like, if it did exist. She supposes that, given what Father Winter had showed her a year ago, there's likely a branching pathway - a different reality - out there, where she did, indeed, become a Gym Leader.[break][break]
Anything is possible.[break][break]
"Fairy," she decides, picturing Valerian: her oldest friend, and first Pokemon. "And Psychic."[break][break]
For the Unown, of course.[break][break]
The simulation pixelates, and she assumes that some sort of stadium will appear based on her selections...but for a brief moment, she is lost amidst the myriad of colors struggling to decide what to become. Before her, the shape of a girl begins to manifest out of the possible iterations...a familiar girl, she realizes.[break][break]
A cold shiver passes through her. Is this another dream?[break][break]
"Eris," she whispers her name, like an incantation - or perhaps, a prayer.

She watches as the world begins to shift in shapes and colours, uncertain what each piece might become until they actually do find their perfect form. Flowers, a hint of verdant fields - A fleeting reminder of the tricks Hideo Kino had pulled on her in their battle. All too quickly swept away by the calling of her name.[break][break]

Her head snaps up. Looks one way, then the other. Tilted oh so slightly as she tries to catch a glimpse of the one who calls. To the ones that walk the path between dreams, this child seems far stranger than the last. Perhaps, it is the scar that mars her left eye. The way it has become a clouded pink instead of a vibrant red. Perhaps, it's the way that familiarity seems to jolt through her gaze, then becomes shrouded by a look of pure confusion.[break][break]

Tension through the body. A trembling gaze that can't seem to tear away from this presence.[break][break]
