[break][break] Konani hails from the Alola region, who was raised largely by her father and grandmother. Her mother was always out of the region, busy on some business and rarely came home. Despite this, she was always doting on Konani and the affection was mutual as the girl was largely close with her mother. [break][break] Heartbreak struck when her mother died when you was just a teenager. The girl was beside herself with grief, spending days in her room just sulking at the loss of somebody close until the realization struck her: she barely even knew her. With both her father and grandmother beset in grief and refusing to tell her of her mother's true work, but did mention that she had a partner with whom she was close with. Konani decided the only logical thing to do was take matters into her own hands. [break][break] The girl sailed from her home into the war torn Hoenn, where the partner was last seen. While she did have a name to go off of, they've changed names. Without much to go off of, Konani explores into this strange new place while on the lookout for the mysterious woman who once knew her mother.
