From being pinned down by a Luxray to having a Salamence bear down upon it, the Marshadow will find no mercy as it takes the Hyper Beam straight to the face. And as the last bits of its consciousness begins to fade, it too begins to fade back into the shadows.[break][break]

As for the Iron Crown, no amount of trainer intervention or imaginary strength will enable it to withstand the onslaught. As Ogerpon begins to burn up, Eris hears the crackle of lightning over the roar of flames. Strikingly blue electricity streaks past the young ogress, a Luxray wreathed in starlight as he bolts for his trainer, his ward, his sister. And with teeth snagging onto the scruff of her clothes, he yanks her away from the ruthless burst of flames.[break][break]

A quiet grunt, a panic searing her senses as she is tossed to the ground. But there is a mad scramble back onto her feet, not for fear of an Iron Crown rushing at her in its death throes, but the need to check on Reiner. To protect him from the remaining Rocket -[break][break]

"It's over!" She yells out into the howling wind, Jack's ribbons tightening around her arms in warning. Even through the minor storm of ice and fire, she can see the hateful glare of the defeated, and meets it with a defiant one of her own. "Back off before we take you down too."[break][break]

While she is more than capable of dragging out and continuing this fight, she's uncertain if the same can be said for Andrea and her Fuecoco. Not to mention, she's certain that Reiner must have reopened his wound, judging by the laboured breaths he tries so hard to suppress.[break][break]

The Rocket, on the other hand, has watched a whole squad of grunts and his partner get taken down, all whilst him and his Gouging Fire have failed to breach the defenses created by a mere Wooper. No matter how capable they may be, a two on one situation is not favourable in the slightest.[break][break]

"You'd best -"[break][break]

"Watch my back? I ain't the one that's gonna get rocked for letting a kid beat them." Don't let them get the better of her. Don't let the voices get the better of her. She's vowed to herself that she wouldn't let them continue to ruin her, and she will bite back each and every time they lift a hand against her.[break][break]

A click of their tongue, and they're forced to make a hasty retreat.[break][break]

"Reiner!" It all comes crumbling down as soon as they leave. Jack unravelling from her hands, her eye tracing his belly as the first splotches of red begin to stain his bandages. "We've gotta -"[break][break]

Though he winces with every bit of movement he makes, he does not fail to give Eris a reassuring nudge. It will be okay, it'll take more than this to kill him. She knows this better than anyone.[break][break]

A deep breath, a quiet nod.[break][break]

"Andrea, we're heading back to the ranger station. You should come along, so we can get you and Jalapeño looked over too."
