It was a summer afternoon with lovely warm weather, one of the last for this year as autumn was steadily approaching; and so, Blossom couldn't possibly miss out on a walk with her beloved friends. She found a nice spot by the road to sit and sketch out the trees while the six of them played, now and again glancing up to ensure all was well. If only they held still long enough, she could draw them too...[break][break]

“As if,” she said with a light, fond laugh. If it were one or two of her Pokémon, sure, but all six? No way they would pause their fun to pose for her. Maybe she should have brought her new Meganium along to serve as a model. Oh, come to think of it... “Let me know if you guys make a friend, alright? We can ask if they want to come home with us.”

In spite of Blossom's expectations, when a wild Pokémon appeared it did not seek its own kind. Instead, it peeked out from behind the tree she was leaning her back against and watched her draw. It took the ranger several moments to even notice its arrival — glancing to the side, she thought she'd only failed to notice a pair of lovely red flowers growing on the tree trunk before. She looked back to her work, then gasped and turned her head as realization struck.[break][break]

“Are you interested in my drawings?” She asked softly with a smile to match her tone, as the Bellossom seemed rather timid. “There's no need to be shy. You're welcome to a closer look, and if you'd like I can sketch your dance moves.”[break][break]

The wild Pokémon would like that very much, if its head poking out from behind the tree was any indication. Blossom only smiled again, waiting patiently as it left its hiding place entirely. Now that it stood out in the sunlight, the leaves on its body began to spin and the young woman couldn't help but gasp again — and that was before it began dancing, clearly encouraged by the warm reception. A shy performer... How endearing. Rather than comment on it, though, Blossom took up humming a summer-themed tune from Kalosian cinema as accompaniment.[break][break]

“That was beautiful,” she said as the dance came to an end. “Look over there.” On the other side of the road, her own Pokémon had long since ceased to play and were standing still even now, awed. The Bellossom grew as red as its flowers, and she chuckled. “I don't know if I can depict your dance well enough... My drawings have a long way to go.” So saying, the ranger opened her bag.[break][break]

“How about joining us?” Blossom offered, holding up the PokeBall she'd retrieved. “No need to worry about battles, contests or anything like that. If you want, you can just dance all day without anyone watching. Though... If you would let me watch... I'd like to keep drawing you, so I can do your performance justice someday.”
