a small saving grace was the sight of a swoobat and its two woobat children.[break][break]

magearna beeped. it didn't sound like an agreeing sound. magearna seemed to be the kind of pokemon that couldn't breed, though she couldn't say for sure. she had a feeling all of the odd pokemon from the ultra space rifts were unable to. they seemed to defy the usual nature of pokemon in some way or another.[break][break]

an angry-looking annihilape (didn't they always look angry?) charged towards the family of woobats. she didn't want to see their rest disrupted. those little bats didn't want to be up during the daylight hours anyhow.[break][break]

magearna heeded the hushed command. it launched a zap cannon to electrocute the assailant and paralyze him. the petrified pokemon's stride was interrupted and it stumbled to the ground graceless. his muscles twitched, clearly trying to fight the hold.[break][break]
