Melody had scheduled a meeting with Dahlia. [break][break]

There were many things that they had to discuss given the recent events. She walks with a pep in her step as it had been a while since they last spoke, she had always enjoyed spending time with her. [break][break]

She was always kind to her and it always stuck with her. She knocks on Dahlia's door, adjusting her hair and dusting her skirt a bit to ensure that not a single crumb or dust flick was lingering on her. Her maractus jingled alongside her and cheered on melody with a little tune and a happy squeel.

The doors open and melody is greeted with a parade worthy cheer. Melody bends down and pats the stoutland on the head, ruffling it's fur slightlY, a warm smile appears on Melody's face. [break][break]

"Kyle would be happy he got to retire." she replies as if that man had one defining trait, it would that he always wanted to do as little as he possibly could to scoot by. [break][break]

"How have you been, Dahlia? I've been worried about you lately so I wanted to stop by and chat" she asks her as Melody stopped referring to her as Ms. Goode. She felt like the two were kindred spirits, she always felt so vulnerable and supported by the woman. She only hoped the commissioner felt the same way about her.
