a baby? it must've been the galvantula's that he just caught. the joltik was crying, begging for the trainer to take it with them. it wanted to be with its mother. how could mateo say no? "fine, you can come! only because you're being annoying!" it was a temporary capture anyway, right? it was just for this contest. "you'll be back with your mom soon, just help me win!" and like that he'd smack the pokeball atop of its head. absorbing the joltik and continuing on his path alongside dragonite!

a scyther?! hell yeah! calling out sceptile, he'd hold dragonite back. "go get'em!" sceptile and scyther would clash. blade to blade, but dragonite didn't plan on letting his comrade fight against the scyther alone. so he'd capture the pokemon off guard with a focus blast to the back, sending the bug-type flying into a tree. "let's catch it!" a pokeball was thrown. ensnaring the bug-type and that was all she wrote.

spinarak would come to be their next opponent. but together sceptile and dragonite, though overkill, would come to decimate the bug-type with a flamethrower combined with a leaf storm. the spinarak was set ablaze, falling unto the ground as it burned and flailed. "here we go, pokeball!" tossing the ball and smacking the spinarak upside the head. it would come to be absorbed by the dragon specialist's ball.

catching it. they continued moving forward. together the trio would search for their next prey.

a butterfree saw the hell that was occurring! hiding behind a tree, it wondered how was it going to escape?! as soon as it peeked dragonite, with a menacing look, eyed the creature down. just from the scary face it witnessed, the butterfree fell unconscious. "oh! you got another one, neat!" he'd smack a pokeball atop of the butterfree's head. absorbing the pokemon and continuing on with their ruckus throughout the forest.

a shedinja hovered before the trio. it was casually phasing in and out through a portal created by the bug-type. it would casually stroll in one position to the next. eventually it would create a portal before the trio. "do it." and like its brethren it, too, was not met with mercy. the bug-type was devoured within dragonite's flames. a pokeball was thrown at it, and they would continue move on. mateo, as per usual, shouting, "let's go! let's go!"

lunging at dragonite. sceptile would intercept with leaf blade. dragonite would, then, follow up with an uppercut to the kricketune's gut. sending it flying, he'd then release a searing flamethrower at the kricketune. incinerating the bug-type and rendering it unconscious. a ball was thrown, absorbing the creature. mateo continued on.
