The Jagged Pass is a dangerous and hazardous route to explore without proper training or preparations. Luckily for Airi, it did not take the Ranger Captain too long to learn the ins and outs of the rugged path after moving from Rustboro City. A deep sigh of relief escaped from her hot pink-stained lips as she made it up to the highest point. She took a moment to take in the beautiful sight surrounding her before lowering herself down one of the cliffs to rest. A soft smile curled against her lips as she watched a flock of Swablu and Alataria dance elegantly across the azure sky while singing their beautiful song. The mocha-hued beauty closed her eyes for a few seconds as she inhaled, then exhaled a couple of deep breaths to help ease her mind. She had always found the mountains to be a safe haven where she could release her stress and focus on restoring her inner peace.

After a few minutes of deep meditation, Airi opened her piercing sapphire-hued orbs just in time to witness a herd of Numel grazing below her without too much of a care in the world. At least everything seems to be going pretty well so far. Hopefully, everything will continue to move along smoothly, and she will not have to do too much lifting today. She deserved to take a break, too, right?

Airi's focus on the herd of Numel soon shifted towards the source of soft chirping noises ringing through her ear. A couple of soft giggles escaped from her mouth as she watched her small fire chick make quite the fuss to grab her attention and request her to pick him up. "Someone's a little cranky, huh? Is it naptime?" She giggled a bit more as she reached out to grab the Torchic, then placed him inside of her lap. Together, the two of them would sit and admire the natural beauty of the world around them.
