One of the abandoned huts is soon to be bulldozed and transformed into a resort house. The one problem: wild Pokemon had taken up residence while the permits were still in the process of being approved.

The least that Ian can do is clear them out himself. For the Pokemon, that is. Ian steps into the hut and ignore the frightful faces of Zigzagoon and Oddish. Those don't stand a chance against trained Pokemon. He's here for their champion.

The Electabuzz's Light Screen does nothing against Apollo's Flare Blitz. One is a fighter who has been hardened over years of travelling Hoenn. The other is a slumlord.

Their lives are so, so small. A pity, Ian thinks.

"Now disperse." Ian roars over the sound of crashing waves. The Electrike and the Voltorb scatter immmediately. The Trubbish take a little more time. Eventually, Ian is left with his trophy. He considers her for a moment before dropping a Pokeball on her head.
