October was shaping up to be a rather strange month for Natsuki, though her love of spooky was almost enough to outside the weird happenings which seemed to be befalling her. Perhaps October was just a month heavy in run ins with league members? Making a mental note to stay home next October, Natsuki turned to glance at the girl on the other end of her couch. She seemed to be enjoying the movie they were watching together, both snuggled under blankets in the dark living room of her house in Pettleburg. As odd as her company had been the eerie quite that had covered the darkness outside peaked her curiosity, not that she wanted to venture into the thicket of black to see what was wrong. No instead she had opted to stay right were she was, at least Petra was kind of safe. From the hall the phone which hung on the wall rang, startled from its sudden boom behind them Natsuki gave a huffed breath before chucking slightly. “ that scared me” she laughed, sliding from the couch and heading to answer the phone. “hello?”silence met her as she inquired into the callers reason for calling, the phone clicked and she was left standing in the hall confused. “ ok?” she uttered before hanging the handset back upon its base, she had made it no more then five steps before the phone rang again. “SERIOUSLY” she yelled in frustration.

“Who was it?” Petra decides to pry, assuming it was some kind of prank call made by kids who thought of a clever joke. The blanket she wrapped herself in is warm, but as he attention is drawn away, she feels as though something was pulling on it...

But there was nothing there? Curious, but not enough to keep her attention for long. “Should we pause?” They were getting to the good part, after all, and she didn't want Natsuki to miss it!

“i have no idea they just started...breathing heavy into the phone before hanging up” she mentioned before picking up the phone once more. This time instead of speaking she to breathed heavy back into the phone before hanging it up once more, she had really wanted to finish this movie it was just getting to the really hair raising, heart pounding parts she loved! “na” was all she could udder before a loud thud erupted from above them, Natsuki had jerked having been started by the sound. “ oh..did you let your Pokemon run free?” she asked casually, Natsuki had returned her four to there balls so that there scary movie could be enjoyed with out her having to have four little bed hogs after Petra would leave.

“No... They're all on me.” Parting her robe to reveal the many pokeballs fastened to the vest-like shirt she wore underneath, Petra proved reluctant to adhere to Natsuki's wishes of continuing the movie. Still yet to decide, the flick continued playing as she took to her feet, jumping up to knock against the ceiling in order to answer whatever was upstairs. After a few moments of silence, Petra looked over to Natsuki and shrugged...

“Maybe some stuff fell?” Still, it was strange when added with the calls they were receiving. Definitely felt like some kind of festive childish prank... But who would be in on such a thing? Petra didn't know anyone children or even childish people who would do such a thing, nor should anyone know where she was. Which left only one other option, if she were to continue trying to designate a culprit. Even Natsuki seemed to think it was a pokemon...

Hoping that Petra had let her children run free, Natsuki was slightly alarmed to find that they were all tucked away for the night. Her worst fear had been that something had broken one of the upstairs windows(because that was a common case for her) her least worry was that something was lurking around upstairs (because that would just give her nightmares). Watching as Petra got to her feet and began to tap on the floorboards above there heads, waiting in anticipation for something to happen. Natsuki was somewhat relieved when nothing however answered the girl back, “may...” she was unable to answer fully when suddenly a mega banette appeared to the left of both of them, firing off a Knock off towards the two. Quick to slide her hand around one of the balls, Natsuki calls for Sableye, launching the pokemon out towards the other “JIRO NIGHTSHADE” she quickly calls hoping to deal enough to stun the creatures so that she can attempt to throw another ball in the hopes of capturing the cutie!

DESPITE THE EFFORT, the banette is able to break free from the pokeball (at no expense to your inventory total)! with a cackle, its spine arches horrendously, breaking its spine as it disappears... before launching itself at @noblesse personally, with a SHADOW SNEAK.[break][break]

“W-why me?!” Petra is quick to realize that the Mega-Banette is staring her way, throwing a pokeball down at the ground between them so that Stark, her Hydreigon, is the one who takes the blow.

“Where did something like this even come from?!” She questions the room, unable to make sense of such a pokemon finding it's way in with them. Thankfully her Hydreigon appeared to have shaken off the attack it endured head-on, though not as easily as Petra would've hoped...

“Can...can you fight?” One of Stark's three heads looks over to Petra, nodding in hopes that it'd put her at ease. Her tone of voice made it evident that she was scared, and Stark didn't like to see her like that. “A-alright... I'll leave it to you two then.”

Acknowledging Natsuki and her own pokemon, the Hydreigon felt a show of force was necessary now that they had the advantages of numbers. Launching forward, the three-headed dragon would use it's mouth to crunch down on the Banette, threatening to tear it from the seams of it's ornate stitching...

Unlike her friend here, Petra had no intention of trying to capture such a pokemon. It would be up to Natsuki to try and put a lid on such a nastily powerful pokemon.

Natsuki was a bit surprised when Jiro’s attack had failed to stun the creature enough for her to get it into a ball, however Natsuki wasn’t very familiar with a multitude of Pokemon. The Mega-Banette had charged once again this time however going for Petra instead of herself, in the panic Petra had managed to call out her Hydreigon in just enough time. Grabbing two more balls she released her Zoroark Roran and Umbreon Sayoran “Roran Night Daze, Sayoran Tail whip!” she told the lot of them, it was much easy now to have something hit now that Stark had the Banette held within its mouth. Pulling out another pokeball she once again attempted to catch the pokemon “ you good over there Petra?” Natsuki finally called out.

“Yeah, I'm fine now... Thanks.” Petra finally gets a hold of her ragged breathing, trying her best to calm down now that the culprit of their latest scare was in the process of being detained. Rather, it was already detained, the pink-haired girl just needed to get the thing in a pokeball long enough to complete the capture.

The appreciation is also conveyed towards Stark, her Hydreigon, who risked itself to keep the Mega Banette in place. Dragon pokemon were known to be fierce and resilient, but taking a blow from a mega-evolved pokemon was nothing to be taken lightly. She'd have to reward their bravery somehow, but before that, a trip to the pokemon center wouldn't hurt. Getting their wound checked out was Petra's top priority, reluctant to give it the chance to fester.

“Even if you capture it, what are you gonna do with that thing?” She questioned Natsuki with plenty of concenr evident in her voice. That thing had just attacked them without provocation. Trying to train or work with such a pokemon would be quite difficult. It'd take more than just one of Natsuki's companions to keep it under control, lest she run the risk of it getting away and wreaking havoc everywhere it went...

Until that pokeball stopped wiggling, Petra remained wary of it.
