The grip on his shoulder draws his attention towards the bird pokemon. She seems to have found herself a ew perch and takes a liking to it fast. He's not one to deny a pokemon so long as it's being friendly with him about it.

They sit awhile, watching the other pokemon enjoy themselves. Deciding to get even more comfortable the bird hops down from his shoulder, travleing across his arm into his lap. She nestles in and makes herself at home.

Evan leaves her there while he waits for another to catch his eye- eventually offering her a safari ball only when he has to move.

He has to move fast because the pokemon is charging him. He's quite certain its out of play because he's seen this pokemon before. They are aggressive by nature and attack just about anything but he's always found that when you address them in the right way, like most pokemon, they can be reigned in easily.

Evan rolls onto his back and outo f the way of the dragons path. It runs forward still until it hits a tree and he laughs from his spot, drawing its attentions again. This time he doesn't have the same time to move and almost as if it sense it the pokemon runs into him but not enough to do more than give him a light bruise, pushing him onto his back and climbing over him to claim its prize. He can't help but laugh.

He plays with the pokemon awhile before offering it a pokeball like the one before it.

He is met with an approving roar and he is grateful he didn't have any of his pokemon out. A couple of them owuld have refused to come back out if they had heard that.

Evan returns to his would be lounging as he observes the pokemon. A stand out is the group of Houndour he keeps an eye one. One part curiosity and one part because he's seen the pokemon before. It's a dangerous creature but a fearsome one if trained right and he's on edge just from seeing it. One of them seems to sense this, stopping and separating from the pack to watch him.

There's a moment where they stair each other down and Evan decides to call the truce. He offers it a treat and at first the pokemon snubs him. He's used to this, lays the treat on the ground and waits. Even though he could easily capture and train pokemon Evan has never forced the issue. He has always sought a mutual understanding with wild pokemon and the ones that have been with him were only in pokeballs as a formality as it was expected for entry with them into most regions. Others came and went from his party as they pleased and he had never persuaded them differently.

This one eventually its beside him, eating the treat with a tenseness that shows it's not yet sure how it feels about him and neither does he know how to feel about the pokemon.

He lays the ball in front of it next, after a long while of watching the other pokemon together and easing into each others presence. Awhile later he is returning to the warden, all three balls from the safari spent in quick succession.
