“No-no-nonono-no-no!” A twitchy-eyed child stormed onto the field, apparently unafraid of the approaching stampede. She probably should have been, but anger had overridden her sense of self-preservation. “I have saved and scrounged every spare penny for weeks for these berries! I’m going to sell them for money, and more berries, and maybe some toppings for my food, but really that’s none of your business! The point is, you do not get to ruin this! Melody!” With a toss of her Pokeball, the Lapras was sent onto the field.

“It is cold! I am tired! And I’m totally not down to deal with this right now! Stop them!” The Lapras’ mild confusion suggested that this wasn’t the first time she’d had a food-related freak-out, but she was happy to oblige anyway. The sea beast began her song, and with it, a dozen golden notes floated from its mouth. She’d chosen an attack that could strike at the stampede without putting the precious plants at risk. One by one, the Bouffalant collapsed short of reaching the allotment. A devilish grimace fell upon the girl’s face. That would teach them to come near her treasures… And she could get a little extra out of their encounter too. Another Pokeball was thrown – this one empty, but not for long. It hit the nose of the nearest one’s afro, sucking it into the ball to be claimed as Annie’s.

THIS BINACLE DESIRES MORE FOR THE PALATE. no more seaweed one of the heads had said. and in a rare moment of mutual agreement, the other head had sworn off seaweed too. now, this pair wanders the land, hopping on their detached rock as if they were playing getting over it with bennett foddy. finally, they see your garden and begin to sharpen their claws.[break][break]

With a solid nine metres’ height over most Pokemon, Coco was a boon to the garden as both an aid and a scout. She raised the alarm at the sight of new hostiles, prompting Annie to rush over. Her glare switched between the facepalms and the faces on palms; she settled on the latter and gave her a thumbs down. That was the tree’s cue to swing her neck. With what Annie could only describe as a war cry, the Dragon Hammer sent three heads crashing down upon the Binacle, sending it straight into Dreamland. When it awoke, it would be far away from Annie’s precious barriers.

“Excuse me! Sir! Everything on Camp Annie Farm is property of Camp Annie!” In the absence of a scarecrow (or the funds to pay for one), Annie’s yelling worked just as well. The Impidimp stopped two feet away from a berry tree, side-eyeing the trainer.

“That means back off, gremlin.” The beast lifted his tongue towards the fruit. Annie pulled out a Pokeball. The tongue fell. She took a step forward. He took two back. That was enough to prompt Annie to sic a Pokemon on him. Ponyta charged forward to defend their precious berries, greeting the little devil with a Low Kick to the face. Once the beast was down, a Pokeball followed suit.

Everything in the garden belonging to her wasn’t a warning, it was a promise.

ALTHOUGH RARELY FOUND IN THE WILD, this ludicolo has come out of hiding to perform by the berry trees. this pineapple-patterned pokemon hops on foot to foot, and with a raise of its hands, ushers in rains. perhaps, this would be a lovely thing... if it weren't for the threat of over-watering and drowning the plants.[break][break]

“Hey. Hey, Trixie. C'mere, I’ve got a funny plan.” Annie never took kindly to intruders on her land, but ats long as her berries went unharmed, she could use them for a little fun. She whispered a dastardly plot into the Whimsicott’s ear as rain started to hit the ground. Trixie’s usual grin took on a devilish edge; she nodded went on her way, bouncing and bounding her way towards the Ludicolo.

The cotton ball was half the dancer’s size, but had no less energy. She danced along with the rain summoner, each step prancing her a little further away from the Ludicolo – and the berry farm. The water-type followed, happy to have a partner, and was lured seven dozen metres away from the farm.

That was far enough for Trixie to fire a Hurricane at the unsuspecting intruder. In the blink of an eye, both were rocketing around in the winds, but while the Whimsicott saw no greater pleasure than floating in the gale, her target faced the bad end of a super-effective attack. When it hit the ground, it was near unconscious, and unable to defend itself from a launched Pokeball.

THE DISGUISE HAS BEEN BROKEN. from what? who knows... and so, this mimikyu attempts to repair itself, seeking sturdy berry tree branches to make itself upright again. however, it can't help but be tempted to swipe some of the berries off of your trees.[break][break]
