the moment that kyle had taken his leave was the moment that she fell to her knees, a terrible fatigue overwhelming both her body and mind. the gym leader's pokemon immediately came to her aid, with hypno and gardevoir having only just arrived to take stock of the situation. both managed to disperse the densely packed crowd, reassuring whomever was present that all was well - and that cait would be tended to.
"i need - "
sweat gathered at her forehead, her breaths escaping her in pants. she struggled to maintain her focus, the dizziness and headache that presently plagued her preventing cait from doing so. her gardevoir's healing touch offered her some semblance of relief, but she'd require rest and time to sort through her thoughts. celebi lingered only for a moment, having remained for the sole purpose of ensuring that their avatar was treated properly.
"i have to tell fernando," she murmured.
- i'll draft a message, - hypno volunteered, her dull tone invading the sensitive crevices of cait's mind. - lord celebi is being rather vague, i fear. this is urgent, i suppose? -
gardevoir helped her back onto her feet, the woman wobbling unsteadily but managing well enough.
"it - it is," she managed.
- i'd rather not send master silph a vague message. a little information is all i need. -
hypno's pinprick gaze shifted toward the general direction of the exit, a niggling curiosity causing her to gently press her mistress for more information.
"i just... need a moment to sort through my thoughts."
- of course, - hypno acknowledged. - to bed you go, miss alfric. we'll sort this out once you've had your rest. -
cait merely nodded, escorted from the stone field and to her tiny apartment. the doors of her gym would be closed for a time as she recovered and directed a message to FERNANDO SILPH - informing him of her encounter with kyle as well as the vision that had plagued her mind.
