[break][break]marcel curses at the sight of the pokemon. he does it again, louder, when he sees what it's doing to his plants.

vega's on it before he even commands an attack. a few AIR SLASHES in quick succession both divert the pokemon's attention from the garden and weakens it should it lash out again. marcel doesn't waste time in throwing a pokeball before it can retaliate.

the door slides open to the sight of several scorched whirlipede. it takes marcel a few moments to catch up, but even then he's not entirely sure of what just happened. still, he follows the cue of vega's proud cry and pats her on the head. as an afterthought, he tosses a pokeball at one of the fallen pokemon.

[attr="class","irisThread"]she drops the larvesta over the fence before pulling herself up to follow. iris can already hear the karrablast rustling among the plants; it was only a matter of time before it began to eat at the berries. were this not someone's garden, she would've been able to deal with the wild pokemon easily.

the larvesta is already scuttling towards it. iris goes through her pockets for a pokeball, still keeping a close eye on the karrablast. "bring it here." her larvesta aims a STRING SHOT at the other pokemon, dragging it towards it with a jerk of its head. as the karrablast struggles to get back on its feet, she throws the pokeball.
