Alec was watering his berries that he had planted while Ripey, his Appletun was roaming about. It was then that Alec had heard something rustling one of berry trees. Alec had also heard it as well. The young trainer had looked over and had saw a wild Pokemon picking a berry off of one of his berry trees. 

When the wild Pokemon had realized that the trainer and his dragon Pokemon had spotted him, it stood there in a defensive stance, ready to fight. "Ripey, you wanna show em what your made of?" Appletun nodded having a determined look in its eyes. "Alright, then! Use Leech Seed!" Alec said, and with that, Appletun had a seed that was shot from its back at the wild Pokemon.

The Mienfoo had thought nothing of it, however just as soon as the seed was about to reach him, it immediately sprouted on its own, transforming into a net of vines that wrapped around the wild Pokemon. It had tried to struggle, however as it did, it realized that it's strength was being sapped until it was worn out. Alec had thrown a poke ball at it in order to catch it. A few minutes after the Poke ball clicked, Alec picked up the poke ball, looked at it and said, "I promise I'll make it up to ya somehow little guy."

Another day in the Garden for Ripey, was pure bliss for Appletun. He felt like guarding it was something very Important to Alec and so, he felt that protecting it was important. After all, if his masters berries were ruined, then how would they be able to enjoy some? He couldn't let Wild Pokemon come in and ruin the garden.

"Keep an eye out Ripey!" Alec said, not paying attention to what his Appletun was doing, who had spotted something that looked like a pile of goop. Appletun rushed over to it, seeing that was a Grimer! When the Appletun let out a loud huff, Alec had turned to see the nasty pile of goop. Alec cringed and said, "Ripey! Dragon Pulse, Now!" With that, Appletun shot a small flurry of dark bluish orbs at the poison type Pokemon, which had injured it greatly.

Surprisingly enough, Ripey's attack had not done any harm to the berry trees that were growing. Before it could get up and and try to attack, Alec had flung a Poke Ball at it, wanting to solve this quickly before his berry trees and soil would be contaminated with it's foulness. Once the Poke Ball had clicked, Alec let out a sigh of relief. "Hopefully, nothing worse decides to come along," Alec said, scratching his head nervously.

Alec had literally jinxed himself, because not a moment sooner, a wild Camerupt had appeared, causing a rampage in his very own Garden. Alec, about to lose his cool, had gave a command to his Appletun. "Alright! Blast that Camerupt with Dragon Pulse! Get him out of the Garden, now!" Alec had said. He would have been willing to catch the Camerupt, but he had already caught one.

The Appletun fired a surge of energy from it's mouth that was more powerful than his usual attacks. Apparently, Ripey was not going to hold back if it meant protecting the Garden. The surge from it's mouth was then fired at the Camerupt, sennding him flying out of the vicinity of Alec's Garden. After it had immediately crashed into the ground, it got up, and quickly ran away, terrified.

Ripey huffed as he saw the Camerupt run away, and then ran towards Alec, who had simply wondered why the Camerupt had went on a Rampage in the first place. Then again, it was probably better not knowing. All that mattered now was that the Garden and it's berries were safe from yet another terrible disaster that could have happened.

Appletun had saw something moving into one of the berry patches, and had decided to go investigate. Alec had noticed Ripey was walking away and had saw what it was. "That's an Omastar! But, I thought they were extinct? At any rate, I'm going to catch it! Ripey - Energy Ball, now!" Alec had said eagerly. The Appletun quickly fired a ball of green energy out of his mouth right at the Omastar. It proved to be rather handy too. Since it was a grass type move, the plants around it when it explodes gains the nutirents from the ball of energy Ripey had fired, while damaging the Omastar at the same time.

Once the Omastar was down, Alec had thrown a Pokeball at it. He figured that maybe Drake and his other fossilized pokemon would get along well with the Omastar. Werem't they prehistoric too? At any rate, Alec just thought it'd be cool if they got a long great together. But then again, what if it didn't? "Oh well, The gardens seems to be okay for now," Alec had said, grinning.
