Even in a new area, his luck isn't too great. His eyes seemingly narrow down at the Chansey nearby. Thinking about its capabilities and renown as a healing pokemon, he feels the temptation to throw one of his safari balls, but knowing his thoroughly limited supply and his higher interest in finding the Eevee's flock, he shakes his head and chooses to move onward to yet another place within the park. His pace is relatively fast, yet not to the point of jogging.

The Eevee's ears perk upwards, shaking slightly as it catches the sound of something familiar. It turns back to the ranger with excitement and fervor in its eyes as it lets out a small cry, hopping up and down as it runs off into the distance. Seeing this, Ken quickly follows after, chasing after it. After brushing aside a few tree branches, he can see the Eevee prancing about with another one. He's finally found another.

The two Eevees turn to look at him, and the one he recently befriended quickly runs over to him, jumping into his arms as it looks back towards the wild one. Ken sits down, to not disturb or scare the other. Its approach is slow, but its hesitation soon washes away as it resumes its play date with the other Eevee. Smiling warmly, he looks at it, a hand out.

"Why don't you come with us?" he says, the Eevee in his arms nodding proudly.

He can already feel exhaustion wash over him as time slowly winds by. How long has he been in the safari zone? He silently wonders as the two Eevees follow him, prancing about over the grass. He didn’t expect his random whim to seem so troublesome; however, the safari is turning out to be quite the adventure.

Walking along his new pathway, he catches sight of another Meowstic. The Eevees pause for a moment as they look over at it, but seeing Ken’s disinterest in it, they begin heading off into another direction. He can hear the soft cry and their eagerness to lead the way, pulling him away from the cat-like Pokemon.

Following after the pair of Eevees, he passes by another Meowstic. There's almost a plethora of them here; not too surprising considering the nature of the safari zone. Still, the trio don't seem too keen or interested in it. Instead Ken continues following after the Eevees as they prance onward on the same path. He glances around the area, wondering how much longer it'd take for him to find another Eevee. Slowly, he's starting to regret following such a whim, but having committed himself to it, he refuses to stop now.

Hearing the sound of fluttering wings, he looks up to see a Woobat flying overhead. It doesn’t seem to notice him though, so he doesn’t bother with it, instead looking back over to the two Eevees still leading him randomly into the distance. He scratches his cheek slightly as he follows along, keeping a watchful eye out for another Eevee should he spot one.

Excitement can be seen in the two Eevee's expressions as they seem to have caught the scent of one their sisters. They bark over to the ranger and quickly rush out, pushing past a bush. Ken quickly follows them, pushing away the shrubs to see three Eevees running around in a circle. Spotting their new friend, the two Eevees run back over to him, tackling him with their relatively small bodies.

He falls over from the unexpected attack, the two Eevees licking his cheeks and nuzzling their head against him. A little hesitant, the last Eevee just watches them, slowly approaching to sniff his hand. The two Eevees turn back with cheerful smiles, inviting it over. Seeing how trusting they are towards the man, the last Eevee nuzzles her head against his palm, letting him pet her.
