He stares down at the torn ticket in his hand. Another 50 PD gone to step back into the Safari Zone. He hadn’t anticipated stepping back in so soon, but his previous experience turned out to be a positive one and he was curious to see what would be different this time around.

His blue eyes scan the grassy horizon as he looks around - the tall grass all around him fluttering against the soft breeze that passes by. Without much thought he begins his stroll around the park once again with anticipation, a rare sentiment that he hardly ever felt.

As he wanders about, the dispassionate ranger hears a soft cry nearby. Pushing past some bushes, he spies a small eevee prancing about carelessly. Raising a brow with interest, he slowly approaches with a small stick in hand, plucking it and waves it around at the small canine.

Its eyes brighten at the sight of the man and it quickly runs over, hopping about in the process. Smiling at the sight, Ken lowers himself onto a single knee and playing around with it as it chases after the stick in hand. He holds it high as it hops, trying to catch the small stick.

"Wanna come with?" he asks, staring at the eevee with his blue eyes.

As he continues his trip in the safari zone, he spots a swarm of Woobats fluttering by over head. The eevee pauses for a moment to stare at the swarm alongside the ranger, letting out a confused cry as it wonders why he'd stop in place.

Looking back down at the eevee, he gives it another smile and starts moving along again.

He hears something drop from above causing him to look over to a nearby tree. Eyeing the branches, his gaze turns down to the ground where he stares at what looks to be an apple. It shakes and slowly plops upwards, revealing its strange eyes as it looks back over to him. Arching a brow in curiosity, he's almost tempted to approach it, but shakes his head. Reaching downwards, he picks up the eevee and walks away.

Letting out a soft sigh, his hands reach downward to pluck the excited Eevee off the ground. Feeling the ranger’s soft touch wrap around it, it looks upwards and tilts its head in confusion but that quickly changes to joy as it lets out a cute cry. Seeing this, his lips curl upwards into a smile.

He originally stepped back into the safari zone on a whim, but finding that the park was offering Eevees for trainers to catch, he couldn’t help but feel somewhat excited – especially considering that a few of the Eevee evolutions would synergize perfectly with his gym.

Peeking around the corner, he spots a Meowstic, but it isn’t enough to draw his attention and he moves on with the Eevee in hand.

His eyes widen in slight surprise when he spots a Snom low on the ground. Shame he didn't bring Mizuki. Shaking his head, he gently pets the Eevee's head as he continues looking for more of its flock, leaving the icy caterpillar to its own business.

Everything is relatively calm. The Eevee in has hands seems comfortable and even happy about being pampered. The stroll thus far has been relatively boring though as he's unable to find other Eevees. He frowns lightly as he glances around, hoping to find more to potentially fill in his gym.

His eyes stop at another Meowstic whose appearance seems slightly different than before. Probably a different gender, he assumes before moving onwards.
