her shop is located in mauville city, nestled between a bakery and a liquor store. it's currently a disaster, due to her negligence. previously owned by her sister, the shop is a work in progress due to switching owners and its current owner's disdain for it.

despite having a bug type of her own, her sister's butterfree, she's completely terrified of the little creepy crawlies. crying and panic ensues, followed by a very angry smol girl trying to squish every bug in sight. once she finally learns to understand and appreciate her butterfree, bugs might not be too bad but that is a long way off.

it's very rare for her to actually show a genuine smile? they just don't happen anymore (unless you're @ken and you happen to be wearing eevee ears). it's noticeable that her smile doesn't match her eyes but she's oblivious and thinks she's fooling everyone. she's definitely not, srry faye.

nothing gets her goin' quite like a good ice type. her team consists of mostly ice with the occasional water type mixed in. her goal is to acquire all of the existing ice types. once that task is completed, she'll more than likely work toward water next.

with no achievements or social standing under her belt, she isn't really noticed by the league. she prefers to just exist in her own little bubble and not get involved in too much. after all, she has flowers to tend to and bugs to kill.

honestly, they probably know even less about her than the league does. she just simply doesn't care enough to get involved in their business. it's not that she isn't concerned about the state of hoenn, it's really just a matter of priorities and rocket falls at the bottom of her list.

it's not so much that it's a secret so much as it is something she refuses to talk about. it's too raw, too painful. it happened a few years ago, when she was still young and impressionable. her personality was different back then, more vivacious and adventurous. her sister had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, losing her life and leaving faye to fend for herself.

she was too young to understand why they never came home one day. there came a day where she understood, where her sister had sat her down and began to explain the concept of losing a loved one. it was a painful lesson, one she has come to experience quite frequently.

perhaps the biggest factor as to why she refuses to indulge anyone with stories about her past is due to the look they get in their eyes when she lets the skeletons out of the closet. the look of pity, of empathy, makes her blood boil. she knows it's sad, knows it shouldn't have happened, but it did so stop looking at her with those eyes. it's revolting.

he's infuriating but she appreciates his company.
