Maendly stops to take a breather and adjust his loose shoe laces. It takes a while for him to adjust. Though the running shoes were top of the line the shoe laces were not. They were much too short for seemingly every reliable knot he tried to use.[break][break]

After his struggles Maedenly concedes and uses a knot that he had no doubt would come undone before his run was over.[break][break]

Maendly jogs down the path at a steady pace. Though the tiredness began weigh him down he kept on pushing forward. He was almost at the end of his run he couldn't give up now.[break][break]
