As soon as they had gotten back to looking for Pokemon, one had appeared. It looked like a giant bell floating in the air, so Alec wagered a guess that it was a Steel and a Psychic type possibly? Alec wasn't sure, however Alec had decided to leave it alone.

"Hey, Inferno! Let's keep looking alright?" his Charizard let out a groan, wanting to fight it. "I know you wanna battle, but looking around isn't necessarily a bad thing either buddy," Alec pointing out. His Charizard had given what Alec had said some thought, and then a few minutes later, the Charizard had seemed to agree, allowing them to keep moving and what other Pokemon they could find.

Alec had and Charizard had made a few yards down the path, spotting another Pokemon. Alec was excited to see the Sandshrew, but had noticed that it's appearance was completely different from what it would normally looked like. The young Gym Leader had quickly pulled out his Pokedex that was given to him by Florian Laurel , which Alec wondered in the back of his mind how he was doing? Alec figured he'd be rather pleased with knowing that Alec was using his Pokedex while out catching Pokemon! 

He also wondered if he had heard the news of Alec being a Gym Leader? Before Alec could think about the Professor more, the Sandshrew had noticed Alec due to his Pokedex talking. The wild Pokemon lunged at him, feeling threatened by the trainer's patience, however, Inferno who was right beside Alec had fired a flamethrower at the Sandshrew, which had seemed to a crazy amount of damage to it, not getting back up from the attack. 

"I think you overdid it just a little buddy. But, I do thank ya for protecting me! Then again, the Sandshrew was probably more afraid of us than we were of it, which is why it tried to attack me," Alec said, pointing out, not really picking a side as to who was in the wrong. He quickly tossed a Poke Ball at it, figuring he'd take the little guy with him in order get him healed him up at a nearby Pokemon Center.
