another month another few rounds at the safari zone. this time an odd bunch of pocket monsters decided to call the zone their home. many were familiar to him already as he had some of them already on his team. two of which had already evolved to their penultimate forms and were proving to be some real power houses on his side. however there was something in particular that caught his attention. charmanders. the cute little lizards from kanto were an all time favorite back home in galar. "ok time for some lizard hunting. let's get pumped up with some catching spirit! spirit! spirit!" the little chant kazimir did pumped him up enough for a sprint into the heart of the park as his hunt began once again.

the stone golem sat there under a tree eyeing the flower that it picked with its glowing eyes. something about it was very solemn, probably because it was a ghost type. "ya kinda a quiet little guy ain't ya?" kazimir joined the little golem in sitting under the tree, safari ball in hand that caught the attention of the pokemon. "this? ya wanna join my team? i could use someone with an eye for pretty flowers." the golurk looked between kaz's face and the ball before it tapped a finger against the button, curiosity getting the better of it. however it stopped a centimeter and a look of terror on its face spread as it couldn't deal with the idea of leaving its precious flowers behind and started to run away. "damn...didn't know they ran that fast.

the little lizard charged at kazimir with its little claws scratching the air and its tail waving furiously. as it approached the trainer kazimir let out a chuckle as he side stepped the charging lizard only for it to turn on a dime and charge again, this time actually jumping onto his leg and holding tight. only its claws never sunk into his skin, instead the little pokemon nuzzled his leg and let out an affectionate cry of happiness. "hey c'mon that's my leg little buddy! can't have ya clinging onto it like that. how about you come into this instead? much more cozy." with that kazimir took out a ball and tapped it against the charmander's head as it looked up at him with a grin on its face.

the pokeball flew through the air and arced to land on the little pokemon's head. the idea was to catch it but somehow the shieldon saw this as a chance to play and rose up on his stubby little hind-legs before headbutting the ball. kazimir's eyes went wide as he saw the pokemon just give up its freedom like that from where he was standing. however that wasn't the case, as the ball hit the large forehead of the pokemon it was suddenly sent flying back at kazimir and hit him square in the face sending the man flat onto his ass as the pokemon let out a giggle and ran away in an attempt to play tag as kazimir just watched it dart off not really feeling like playing anymore. "what...what just happened?"

another floating possessed sword? well that sounded like it had no downsides at all. however he was quite familiar with how these things acted and sure enough this one wanted to fight. it didn't matter of kazimir didn't have his own magic sword with him, this one was going to cut him up. "alright, think ya sharp enough eh? ya probabbly are but i bet you ain't fast enough." a tumble weed flew by the middle of them as the sword charged with its tip pointed right at him and kazimir returned the favor with charging with a pokeball in his hand.

"gentlemen." the single word caused the group of little soldiers to line up side by side in attention. the giant leek loomed over kazimir's downed body before falling as the bird wielding it had a massive grin on its face. kazimir's life flashed before his eyes as he watched it come closer, and closer, and closer, until it was within range. his hand shot out to catch it and shocking the bird in disbelief. "heh...y'know this is kinda fun...bet we could have even more fun if ya joined my team..." with all of his strength he the leek out of the bird's hands and thrust a ball into its beak. "now let's get along now."
