MARCH UPDATE

There was a chill in the air. Bo tugged her jacket closed and she hobbled down a path. All the jobs she’d managed to drum up and she hadn’t bothered to get herself a better fitting jacket. Her clothes didn’t really bother her much, though. As long as they were functional, why should she care?

Her boots crunched on the grass as she veered off the path. She was so early that the morning sun hadn’t even warmed the frost off the grass. Well, a stroll to herself in the brisk morning air might do her some good.

Even though the cold wasn't nearly as bad as it had been this winter, Bo was ready for warm weather. The flux between the morning chill and afternoon heat made it difficult to pack light. Not that her tool bag was exactly light -- but it wasn't thick and cumbersome the way this over-sized jacket was. It was still chilly, though, and Bo wouldn't have to worry about finding the most comfortable way to carry around her jacket for a little while. As she walked, she watched a distant far farfetch'd puff its out its feathers to bring some warmth to itself before it wobbled off into the brush.

"Well, hey there." Bo greeted the little golett as it picked at some berries on a near-by bush. She paused when the wild pokemon jumped and shuffled to hide around the other side of the bush. "Hey, bud, are you hungry?" By now, about half of what took up her bag were slightly crushed snacks. She found the longer she wondered through places where wild pokemon roamed, the more these snacks came in handy. Sometimes she was able to make new friends with them and sometimes she could distract a really upset pokemon with them.

Today, she would try to make some new friends. She yanked one of the snacks free from her bag, peeled back the wrapper, and tossed a piece towards the golett. She tossed more pieces, slowly trying to work the golett close enough for it to take the snack straight from her hand.
