[attr="class","spiral"] There's little reason to come to the region of Nixtorn for non-mages. The town specializes in an ice environment and only mages can wield that as a type. Fernando comes, not because of his interest in the city, but to acquire a rare drop from one of the NPCs. It's a weird quest he picked up on and the detailed reward listed perks his interest. It happens to be crafting material for a mid-game ice wand and the weapon stats look like a clean upgrade over anything else he's discovered.

An ice wand may have no use for him as a Ranger but creating one of the strongest weapons in circulation is sure to fetch a pretty penny. Before making a stop at the quest giver, he takes another detour at the shop and checks out the local wares. Might as well restock while he's here before having to travel back to any other region.
