Alec had stood behind a rock awaiting for someone to pass by. He was in a PK Zone, and he figured more kills would be beneficial towards him. He had his wand out at the ready, already using a Calm Mind Spell in order to raise his Special Attack as well as Special Defence stat by one. If anyone was gonna come along, he would most certainly make sure they would regret it. He wouldn't make the make same mistake he had made back in Dragnor when he had fought the Ranger, making himself aware to more players. [break][break]

He raised his head up the moment he had heard footsteps, making sure he was deadly quiet to not give himself away. However, due to the sandstorm, it was difficult to pinpoint there exact location. Despite, that. Alec had kept himself calm with the help of his spell and would be ready for whoever it was. It didn't matter what kind of player they were. They would be his to kill. If someone else decided to get in his way, well, he'd just kill them too. [break][break]

Gavin trawls the desert in search of victims, enduring the intense heat of the desert and the obscured visibility thanks to the sandstorm in the hopes of finding easy prey.[break][break]

What he finds instead is the silhouetted figure of a man he's contended with once before; a mage. He knows black_heart32 to be psychic-type and in possession of several moves that spelled out a bad day for the rogue, but the opportunist in him finds it hard to resist the allure of a potential kill.[break][break]

He creeps closer with bated breath, relying on a rogue's stealth in combination with the whirling sands to keep him hidden. Taking a wide loop until he was fairly certain that the mage's back was to him, the rogue readies both of his daggers and launches forward with a familiar assault.[break][break]

They were just another form of weather, albeit a harsh one, that the right Pokemon could manipulate to reach unparalleled potential. None of the classes in the game made use of a sandstorm, however, so it just sucked. Not only did the winds run an annoyingly consistent vibration through her body, but it made it hard to see who her next threat was – or where they would could from. Her armour’s protection didn’t make up for the lack of vision, but she couldn’t call herself a warrior if she let that scare her. Instead, she pressed on, trusting in her blade and a few new tricks to keep her alive.

Soon enough, it paid off for her. A mage hid behind a rock, waiting for easy pickings to pass by. The winds had covered her footsteps; the sands they carried, her figure. Good thing too, because the smirk she had on might not have gone down well. Nearby, another foe- no, a friend. Annie offered little more than a nod, a silent understanding of their shared goal.

Running up to strike him would have taken too long, with too many footsteps for him to hear… So she left her sword unsheathed, bent her knees and blitzed through the air. Accelerock granted her a sudden burst of speed in one straight shot, carrying her to meet the boy shoulder-first. Gavin would have to wait his turn to slice him up.

Amor had only been in the safe zones once during his tenure in this game, and that was during the tutorial. Besides that Tutorial he had spent every second of his time in this game in the PK zones which meant that he had learned how they worked, how they operated. They would only reveal themselves when they thought someone was weaker than them, and that they would be easy to pick off. That was the way of this game, as much as it was the way of the actual world, and it disappointed him. If they wouldn't fight in honorable duels then he would simply destroy them until they had some shred of dignity in their bones. Over, and over...He had been watching someone for a while...Someone that he viewed as weaker than himself not because they necessarily were, but because after their fight with the Salamence he had wanted to add them as a friend, but didn't know how to approach them.

Was Amor stalking someone that he wanted to befriend...It was a possibility, would he ever admit it? Not a chance. That was when he saw them rush towards his not quite friend yet. Two people were attempting to assassinate Alec. He didn't know what Alec had done to earn the ire of these two people, but the fact that they were cowardly enough to try, and gang up on him was infuriating. So he launched himself into the fray to show these two that no matter what they thought there was always a bigger fish in the pond. The Silver haired Samurai interposed himself between the two attackers, and Alec.

Both of their strikes would find purchase, just not in either of two people that they could have hit, instead a barrier had erected itself around Amor protecting both him, and his mage friend from the two ding bats. The moment their attacks hit his Kings Shield they would both feel the effect of the debuff on them. Since their attacks would have made physical contact with him, the secondary effect activated, and drained their strength by one stage. A single hand on his Katana as he peered back, and forth between the two idiots who attacked someone in such a dishonorable way.

"Not gonna lie...I knew move PKer's were cowards living out a power fantasy, but even I didn't think there were those of you who would stoop this low..." he chuckled at his own words. "Let's see how you deal with it, when the odds are even..." The man with the screen name One_Winged_Dragon would state as he unsheathed his blade ready to fight both of these people alone if that is what it took. "Hey Demon Mage...Can you fight, or am I going to have to do this on my own..."

Battle Breakdown: Amor decided to put a stop to this clown fiesta, and he stepped in to save his friend who is not really his friend yet. Breaking out a Kings Shield which has a +4 priority so it will go off even before Accelrock, and auto blocks all attacks. Also since both of your attacks make physical contact each of you takes a -1 to your attack stat. After all that Amor made some snarky comments to the two would be assassins, and is prepping for a fight! Let's go!!

Alec had quickly turned, hearing two people charge at him from behind. Damn! He thought. He had hoped that his spot wouldn't be given away, but that was wishful thinking, and then, something else unexpected had happened. Another familiar face had appeared, but rather than attack him, he had used King's Shield to protect the mage from their Assault. "So, you two had come for revenge I take it? I could understand why you're here, but," Alec had said directing his words towards Ultimeite, and then looking at Patrick. "Wouldn't you get your revenge on the female mage? After all, it was her attack who did you in ultimately. Plus, you were the one that killed me in the end. At the same time, I killed you," The mage had stated, shifting back to the female Samurai. It was then that the familiar Samurai who protected him had spoke up. Alec formed a devilish grin on his face and said, "Of course. It'd be a pleasure to fight them once again." Alec had said, slamming his wand into the sand, using a new spell that he had learned. A Red line had quickly moved towards Ultimeite and manofsteel, which caused a mass Eruption of flames to gush out of the sand, engulfing them both in the flames, that is if they were able to get out of the way in time. It's a surprise to sight the familiar warrior through the sand, but not an unwelcome one. He returns the silent nod and readies his daggers, surging forth only to find his blades suddenly connecting with a shield instead of flesh.[break][break]

His lip curls in distaste as he finds himself face-to-face with an unfamiliar figure sneering taunts.[break][break]

Gavin chooses to ignore him, instead addressing the mage. "Believe it or not, we didn't plan this. Looks like we just had the same idea."[break][break]

It wasn't about revenge, for Gavin, but opportunity. That opportunity had been soured by the sudden appearance of another; this was no longer the easy kill he'd been hoping for. Normally, this would be the point where the rogue activated his stealth and got out of dodge, but now he had a familiar ally relying on him. He wasn't going to abandon her to fight a 2v1.[break][break]

A red line in the sand and a rumble beneath his feet is enough to project the mage's attack, and Gavin makes a split-second decision to try and get out of the way. Aiming his dagger at the mage, he throws it and tries to leap clear of the blast with his parting shot.

The stranger gave some spiel about their lack of honour, leaving Annie more than enough time to find and show her eye-roll emote. Her ally said most of what was on her mind, but she felt compelled to add: “Even if it was planned, that’d just mean you’re getting involved with things when you don’t know the whole story.”

There was only a slight chance that the words would make him back off, and so she went for the most effective way to handle her problems. She darted past the Warrior, seemingly trusting her ally to hold up the read. The Eruption hit, and hit hard, wiping the green out of her health bar in one clean hit, and then some. If the party wondered why she hadn’t even tried to dodge, the answer would show itself as she unsheathed a sword near-blindingly white.

She continued rushing to him, only to come to an abrupt stop as she swung her sword. The Metal Burst was sent flying the rest of the way as a ball of energy, unburdened by her debuff or her melee range. She knew better than to step within range of his Shell Trap again.

The rogue told him it was just a coincidence, meanwhile the girl told him that he didn't know the full story even if they had planned this out. Regardless someone was in trouble before him, and he wouldn't just sit idly by while they were picked off. Game or not...There had to be consequences for the actions that one took. The rogue threw an attack at the Demon Mage, and Amor simply interposed himself between the attack, and his friend tanking it. He didn't even try to dodge it. The moment the attack hit he just smiled as he saw the debuffs appear on his screen, but there was a buff there as well. His defense had increased due to taking damage, and he tilted his head to the side with a smile.

"You are going to need to try harder...I don't think your heart is really in this..." Holding out his hand a small orb of energy appeared, and it floated in front of his face. With a draconic sounding roar he fired it towards the Rogue. This was his newest move, and it was rather nasty if it managed to do what he wanted it to do.

Dragon Breath...It was a skill he had debated on taking, but he figured he could use the utility of it. It dealt damage, but it had a nasty side effect that had a thirty percent chance of going off. It would reduce his enemies speed by fifty percent until the debuff was removed making them no faster than a snail. A grin appeared on his lips as held his sword out to his chosen opponent, and he rushed after him trailing behind his first attack to close the gap between them.

"Alright Demon Mage...You take out the Warrior, I've got the Rogue!" he shouted without looking behind himself, and charged fearlessly forward. He had to admit that the thrill this game provided him with was wonderful...And he knew that if he didn't have plans for the real world he could easily lose himself in this one. "Lets see how strong you are Rogue!" he called out with a large smile on his face.

Amor seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself, perhaps because it wasn't actual death, or maybe because he could do things here that he couldn't in the real world. A jovial expression littered his face as he readied his next attack.

Battle Background: Amor tanked the Parting Shot, and fired back with a Dragon Breath attack. His attack, and special attack both got lowered by a stage, but his defense went up a stage as well due to his Stamina ability. Rolls for things are below!

Alec had grinned widely Annie had charged him, attempting to jump backwards, dodging her Metal Burst from making contact with him. Taking damage from that move would be a bad decision on Alec's part, so the best thing for the demon mage to do was to dodge that move at all cost. "That sounds like a good idea. He probably won't last long with that nasty explosion of fire I gave them both earlier, so that's fine by me. Plus, me and her have a score to settle technically, am I right?" he grinned smugly at Annie. [break][break]

Even though he killed her the last time they fought, he too also died, so really there wasn't an actual 'victor' really. So, the only way for one to decide that was to see who would be able to outlast and kill the other this time. Him, or her? Who would be the victor would settle the score between them once and for all, and since he had already hit her with an attack, the advantage was in his favor, unless he had failed to dodge her attack. Then, it could be anyone's guess as to who could possibly win. [break][break]

In spite of his attempts to dodge, Alec's eruption hits Gavin with its full force and sends him sprawling, his health bar taking a big hit before the warrior follows up with a burst of dragon breath.[break][break]

"Not the match-up I signed up for, pal."[break][break]

He knew it wasn't a favourable situation either way. Rogues weren't exactly meant to go 1v1 in an open fight. They were meant to ambush, and this warrior had ruined his chances at that.

[attr="class","athread"]Alec was much too quick to remind Annie why she didn’t party up with him without company, and the random stranger wasn’t helping much either. It showed on her character’s face – an annoyed expression normally unbefitting of Annie Mei. True to her nature, she voiced her grievance as the man backed off. “You know what’s getting real old, real fast? The amount of people on this game showboating with words instead of actions.” In the warrior’s eyes, smug words held a lot less weight when paired with cowardly dodging and tricks. It was part of why she chose the class, and why she kept her mouth shut for most of a fight.

She, on the other hand, showed no sign of backing down. Diminished health and a lowered attack did nothing to deter her from charging back in with another Accelerock. She charged from the side, keeping an eye on the interloper as she sped ahead. If her attack reached the mage before Gavin’s, then he would have to choose one or the other to block – if he did at all.

As he was following the assassin looking man he saw that he had launched another attack, though not at himself, and instead to the Demon Mage behind him. A small 'tch' noise erupted from his lips as he continued his charge forward. The Draconic Energy focusing again as it had last time. He still hadn't quite closed the gap between them yet, but it was why he had chosen the move that he had. His weakness was range so he chose to get a ranged move. So with another inhuman snarl he launched the orb of energy at Gavin, hoping that this would be enough to either defeat him, or at least slow him down to make him an easier target for the Samurai who was charging at him. It wasn't an elegant play style, but it worked for him, and as long as it yielded result he wouldn't complain to much.

"Shouldn't you be focusing on me Assassin?" he mused to his opponent as the distance shortened between them. He didn't bother to look back to see how his ally was handling all of this, he just had to trust that he had some tricks of his own to deal with things like this. And if he didn't have anything to handle this, then this was going to be a very long fight for Amor, and that was something he didn't quite want to deal with right now.

Battle Breakdown: Amor launched another Dragon Breath at Gavin in the hopes of either finishing him off, or paralyzing him to take him out of the fight. He is focusing solely on the assassin man at this point, and is just trusting that his Demon Mage companion can handle himself. Sorry for the short post!
