[attr="class","athread"]The hunt for the legendary lightning fish continued. Annie was certain that she’d seen a sea-dweller redirect a bolt to itself, and live to tell the tale. That had been weeks ago, and her search had led nowhere thus far, but any day was a good day to change her fortune!

Overhead, her Noivern flew, an eye on the sky to point out anything that looked red, white or strong. Between the two of them, they were bound to find a new Camper. Probably. Hopefully.

[attr="class","athread"]Ekko recognized the Pokemon. A Dewgong had, very briefly, been a member of their camp, though Annie had found a trainer more suited for the sea beast. He could assume from that that the girl had no interest in catching a second, and so he continued his flight without an alert. He’d assumed quickly, for the girl below had seen the seal too and kept quiet. It wasn’t red or orange enough for her.

[attr="class","athread"]“Ekko!” A sharp whistle followed the call – her Noivern’s command to dive. The oversized bat swooped down before it’d even set eyes on the prize: a lone Froslass caught off guard. She raised her hand to charge a strike, but too slow. Ekko’s Air Cutter hit first, forcing the living kimono to flinch. Supersonic followed suit, sending the wildling spinning into a daze that sealed her fate. Annie’s Pokeball was lobbed, aimed to bounce against the ghost’s belly before it captured her, adding one last member to the Snow Patrol.

It wasn’t the lightning fish, but it would do just as well.
