The Demon, in his new appearance, had once again made his way to Fontaine. He had heard of their being a Special Boss spawn one could face like the one in Avia. He would slay it with whoever had decided to join in the fight against it. He didn't know what kind of boss it was, as well as it's type, but he figured that would be fun to figure out the moment he was standing in front of it. With his newly gifted powers, he and his temporary comrades would more than likely be able to take it down. [break][break]

The Demon had began to walk, it's new wings already spread outward, looking like wings of a bat. He had sent a message to the female mage that he had met in Terarra. Everyone else seemed busy, so he had sent a global message in the general chat for other players to find and come running. He specifically stated that this was a hunt for spawns rather than looking for someone to fight. Plus, this was the non-PK area, so fighting wouldn't be as interesting as it would in a normal PK Zone. [break][break]

"well hey there mr. dracula." when kazimir decided to go answer the call for some mob hunting that popped up in the global chat he didn't think that it would be coming from a familiar demon mage that he was quite familiar with. after all you never forget the first person to brutally murder you in a video game after all. "didn't think a big shot like you needed help going after some spawns. what the guys here a bit too high level for you?" his tone was teasing and his smile cocky as he made his way over to the mage and bent down a little bit to meet him at eye level.

katherine might just have to get used to farming with this guy. they shared the same class and even their interest in the game seemed to align every now and then. usually when a special boss was involved.

"i intended to come here anyway, i have to say. but not having to farm by myself will probably be fun."

the pink-haired mage shot a glance at the other player who showed up, judging their avatar with her golden eyes. "you look... like someone who'd be great at tanking for us," kat mentions, her eyes already drifting away to search for spawns.

The demon mage had a feeling that they would still know it's him, despite his new change in appearance. After all, his gamer tag was hovering right above his Avatar, so it was kind of hard to not miss something like that. When the female mage had mentioned him being useful as well as the Brawler's previous comment before she had come, Alec spoke to both of them at once. "Another boss has appeared in Fontaine just like Avia, and I intend to fight this one. And, yes, you would be right. I can do this without anyone's help, but working with people who may fight the boss with me would be beneficial." Alec stated to the Brawler, hoping the female mage had heard as well, his change in voice being clear, stoic, and blunt.[break][break]

It was then, that the demon mage had caught the eye of a Kabutops Spawn, rushing from behind the brawler with a Aqua Jet However, The demon was much faster, casting a King's Shield not only protecting the Brawler, but also giving the Kabutops a stat debuff. "Well, it looks like we found our first kill," he said calmly, not showing his vulgar side like he had before. Before the Kabutops could strike again, the demon mage had used Freeze Dry Spell. Since it was a Water Type, it was weak against his attack, which allowed the other to follow through with another attack right after him.[break][break]

so a new boss was it? then kaz could understand why the guy would at least want to put together a team that could work well with one another. at least the other mage that joined them was quick enough to appoint kaz as their tank. he may not have the numbers a usual tank would have but he could get the job done no doubt. however the brawler couldn't put in his own two cents when the demon mage fired off a spell at a kabutops that had made its way towards kaz's blind spot. guess with that new boss around the mobs were more aggressive to add to the challenge. good.

the brawler didn't need any more instruction on what to do and went off to get the water type's attention all on him as he raced towards it with a blue sphere growing in his hands. as soon as he got just outside the range of its large blades he fired off an aura sphere into its midsection as soon as the spell from the demon wore off its animation. a close range fighting type move out to be effective on a kabutops, old fossils didn't take much to break after all.

katherine preferred to wait for their attacks first. it seemed easier to finish a mob than to test its durability and hp stat.

after alec's freeze dry spell and the aura sphere of the brawler-- not much was left for the mage to do. "they've been getting sneakier, these mobs. i like it. makes it more of a challenge to farm them." her wand glowed with a blue outline just as the kabutops began to glow as well-- an outline of the psychic attack surrounding its form. "too bad just one mob is too weak to handle a group of players." the pinkette made sure to life the spawn to air - allowing it to linger there for a couple of moments before...

simply stopping the usage of the spell, naturally letting it fall to its ultimate demise. it flickered once with a red flash that signaled it had been killed and then faded into pixels.

"i want to get in on that boss action too. it should be fun!"

well the guy sure did have a lot of boasting power as well as real power to back up his claims as kaz watched him destroy the seel with one of his spells. he let out a whistle of amazement. "well guess we better clean up then. don't want to get his demn-ness' hands dirty now do we?" he shot a wink at the demon mage before dashing towards the remaning seel with extreme speed. "heads up!" he called out to the female mage as he kicked the seel with enough force to send it flying towards to finish it off once and for all.

kazimir let out a cheer as he and the female mage managed to kill the seel with ease. however the grind was never truly done as the celebration was cut short by the sudden attack of speeding sharpedos that struck the shield of the demon mage. the guy sure was bossy, maybe something good happened to him and he was riding the high? the arcanine gave an imaginary shrug at the thought of it. "aye aye sir."
