[attr="class","athread"]Annie learned the hard way that scorching heat was not beyond the limitations of virtual reality. it had been a mercy on the developer’s part to keep the rest of Ignis comfortable, but in the boss’ lair it would be the first of many problems. The biggest took centre stage – a Pokemon she didn’t recognise, if it was a Pokemon at all. It didn’t matter either way, she reminded herself, as long as it could be cut and bludgeoned.

She started with the latter, jabbing the earth’s crust with her blade. The slight tremor it triggered separated rocks from their walls to crash down on the beast… Or at least, tried to. The Rock Slide would be a test of the enemy’s tactics, strength, and skill, though she had a feeling the answer to all of those would be ‘annoying’.

[attr="class","ithread"][attr="class,"brawler"]heat rolls off all her surroundings. iris runs into the heart of the volcano to face the beast that waits them. there's only a slight hesitation as the boss comes into view; iris brushes it off in favour of an attack.

nothing in this game was invincible, and she had good faith in this belief. iris breaks into a sprint as she hurls a DYNAMIC PUNCH at the pokemon.

nothing else really matters in the game anymore besides bosses, he supposed. pvp was getting boring with everyone having the same strat and grinding for items would only be interesting for a period of time.

he takes his gun out, loading it with shells as he walks towards the boss, and then points its barrels at the heatran. since it spawned in ignis, he supposes it's a fire-type. it limits the moves he can use by a bit, but it's nothing he can't work around with.

he fires a shot of nuzzle at the boss, starting the usual first step of the condition-stacking meta that fernando has somehow made popular in the server.

attack roll: 90uegWJ7 (+5 from king's crown)

paralysis chance: (1-100 to paralyze)
