There was a rustle in the branches. Oscar looked over to the source of the sound, although it refused to repeat itself. Seconds passed without further intrusion, when suddenly.

A great beast burst from the bushes, flying high above Oscar. Its form blocked the sun as it descended upon Oscar with a great fury, its mighty scythe preparing to rend him into paste. Oscar was prepare though. As the scyther swung downward, Oscar rolled himself out of the way. The murderous bug slammed into the dirt. Oscar watched as it attempted to pull itself out, only to be thoroughly caught in the ground. Oscar's trap went perfectly, he found an area with soft dirt that the scyther's claws could be easily caught in. With the frantic bug stuck in place, Oscar threw a ball to attempt a capture.

Oscar stared at the still ball and cackled. Excellent, it shall be his greatest soldier. Oscar walked over to pick up the ball, and as he rose he noticed a flash of blue to his left.

A psyduck witnessed the catch and shivered in fear. It did not wish to be taken from its wilderness home, but it wasn't such a change it should have been scared of. Oscar stared at the shiny duckling with greed in his eyes. It shall fetch a fine price at the black market. The psyduck fled, but Oscar was easily able to outpace it. The psyduck tripped and yelled out, crying for the mother who had that very morning abandoned it due to its bizarre shades. The only reply it received was a ball to the head.

A sobble witnessed the catch, cowering by a tree. Oscar noticed it as he picked up the ball and smiled. As appealing as the little pokemon was, he only had one ball left and he had a specific target in mind. Without further delay, Oscar walked to his next desired location.

The forest turned swampy, with fog machines hidden in the brush spreading a thin layer of mist. The perfect place to find a ghost, or at least one should hope.

Oscar clutched his final ball as a disturbance furrowed the mist. A strange floating creature approached, studying Oscar quizzically. Oscar was preparing to give chase, but it didn't seem keen on running. It came closer, and Oscar couldn't help but smile. He leaned down, and it followed to stay within his eyesight. Oscar opened his mouth to communicate, before abruptly shoving the ball into its blank staring face.

The kind will be taken advantage of, this is what the Dreepy learned as it was absorbed into the ball.
