[attr="class","bank"] enters the boy in every dark corner of a fairy tale. the one with a heart the same size as his fist, never knowing the difference between love and hate because both left a beating and at this point, darting beneath the swinging branches of the trevenant is getting easy. the sun hasn’t quite set, yawning rays of gold filtering through the branches as they thump against the ground, always missing him by a hair’s breadth. a triumphant whoop and the earth shakes as they ran together laughing down the forest’s rotten staircase until it fell, the trevenant fell down, down, down, ryu is sliding that last few feet and hits the knot with his foot when it no longer moves. “we should escape from certain death more often.” he said. the magikarp just flops once, suckling on a palm-sized stone and my arceus! did hoenn always have such dry air?! not a single drop of ice cold water can be found on the surface of this dirt planet’s species. oh, how she counts the days she’ll be making skeletons, relieved of this embarrassing, temporary red suit! she wants to go home. she wants to be lost, in a world all her own. where the tree’s grow far away, and the birds fly low. where she’s all alone, the sky is wide and always blue. she’d swim in an ocean so sparkling and clear, where the fish dine on real food, and only the duckletts eat out of the hands of humans. but this is ryu and he's the naive fucking dumbass who’d probably think that she’s just hungry 24/7. “don’t you dare die on me, papa’s gonna get you a worm!” starts digging a hole, “i’m gonna get you your worm!”  |

[attr="class","merkI"] [attr="class","merkpokesI"]    The woods were simply a wonderful place to just get away from the rest of the world. Relax, destress, meditate even. Judging by everything that she had gone through recently, she certainly needed to focus on it. Just ignoring all her stressors would simply let them build up and eventually overwhelm her. It was here she sat alone in the woods, atop an old tree stump, where she practiced her breathing. In, out. In and out again. Slow, repetitive breaths. It wasn't easy to focus at first, with the sound of the woods around them. Pokemon going about their business, a few birds singing in the background, or a few bug pokemon simply on a search for food. Eventually, however, it all turned into a rather pleasant white noise. Just relaxing. That is, until a sudden crash and loud noises revealed the presence of a person. Her eyes quickly opened up wide, glancing about. Was someone in danger? Was someone simply having a good time? Entirely unsure, she quickly leaps up to stand on top of her stump to try and get a better look. Following the sources of the noises with her eyes, she eventually spots them. A man standing across the way with a Magikarp. Or at least, he was standing until he started digging at the ground for some reason unbeknownst to her. "Uh, hello!" Ruby called out, a cautious tone to her voice as she casually placed a hand onto one of her Pokeballs for support. It was more of a comforting gesture than anything, truthfully.
