[attr="class","witness"]The sign up process is simple, a receptionist calls for Francie after the sign up process is complete and she bounces out with an excited grin.

"Kyle! Rockruff rival!" She stops and clasps her hands to her mouth with an excited grin. "Omglookathim!"

With a huff, she focuses herself, nodding with a matter of fact grin.

"Okay, time to focus! So, let's go over the basic rules, shall we? No damage moves, don't lose me. Once we cross the starting line, the maze begins! Be careful while we're in there, because there are as many curses as their are blessings in disguise!"

She can't help but offer the mightyena pets, waving for Kyle to go over the line and begin his venture into the maze.

"You ready?"

Francie's words are hushed and whisper-yelled as she is dragged past her own crazy dino babies. The mightyena seems to enjoy this sort of thing, and so does Kyle, which has Francie letting out a jovial laugh while crossing over the obstacle with decent ease.

"You're too good at that, are you often running from dinosaurs?"

Her question is asked as she continues to hold his hand without realizing it, until he'll let go, if he does. Oops, she likes to hold hands, makes her feel more comfortable.

"Damage moves are locked again, by the way so, keep that in mind."

[attr="class","witness"]Upon turning left, a floor raises from the ground just before them and another rises from behind them. The floor shifts then. The entire floor begins to lower, as those walls that jotted up from the ground begin to fold and close the ceiling on them while they lower slowly into a pitch black tunnel system beneath the gym.

"Maze, part two!"

Francie throws her free fist into the air and keeps tight hold on Kyle's hand, because she doesn't want to get lost in the tunnels.

"Welcome to the pitch black tunnels. You're allowed to use your pokemon, or a device slash object on your person to see your way through the tunnels. There is only one exit, and you'll know you've found it when the dead end's ground raises you up into the battle area."

She then gives a salute, not that Kyle can see it, and deepens her voice like she's some sort of video game voice over.

"Good luck, player one."

[attr="class","witness"]The bright light shining in her eyes has Francie making quite the face when Kyle decides to snap a picture. She had muttered something about auto-brightness being a setting -- which she figured out thanks to kim cole-essam -- before frowning.

"I bet I look stupid in that."

When she hears that bark and they follow it, Francie puts a hand on Kyle's shoulder, smiling.

"Steady now."

The floor began to shift and then rise. What Kyle had tripped on must have been a rock, since the 'tile' was actually just a rough terrain of the ground. Could have even been a root!

Either way, the floor started to rise them up, once they got on the 'artificial' part of the ground. The ceiling opened up and the bright light of the Petalburg City Gym's Arena shined down. Once they were level with the arena floor, Francie clapped for the both of them and bent down to give Bravo some pets.

"Great job both of you! That was a really great run, and you two were really fabulous!"

Once pets were over, she made a sort of hop skip over to a podium that held the Stone Badges she was to give out to the victors. She used her retina to unlock the case before plucking one up and holding it in her palm as she turned around and the case locked behind her.

"Congratulations, rockruff rival and Elite Four member kyle lopez, you and Bravo have beaten the maze!"
