the lights in the room remain turned off from earlier and the only light that leaks through is from ouside. the door shuts behind them and all that's present in the room is the two of them.

he waits, if only for the slightest of moments, to see what his queen does next.

Maybe setting expectations this early was a bad move, but Katherine certainly didn't think that Lance invited her over to get to know her better. "Nice room." She barely spared a look at the furniture to actually care for what this place looked like.

"The view isn't so bad either." Her violet eyes remained on Lance, as she knew exactly which view she was referring to. Much like the duel earlier, the distance between them is closed and they're awfully close. Just enough so she has to slightly look up to catch his gaze.

his lips find hers and he decides it's not enough. she's intoxicating, has been since he laid eyes on her, and he wants more of her. it doesn't take them long for them to lose their shirts, for them to find the bed, for him to claim his queen.

It's been said that a wise girl kisses but never loves, and leaves before she's left. Coincidentally, Katherine seemed to share the same sentiment today. Lance's lips and hers meet, and despite not making the move herself, she knows that she's in control just as before.

She had no intention to get to know him much better or stay in his place for longer than necessary. By the time they're finished, the Rocketess takes advantage of a big brain moment and vanishes in the first opportunity that arises. Making things awkward? Saying goodbye or that she even had fun?
