It wasn't often that the palm trees ruined a day at the beach. Yet here Cap was, staring out over what should have been a beautiful view of the sand and water, face twisted into a grimace. There were what could only be described as a veritable swarm of trees, stomping around happily and grumbling to each other. He could've sworn he hadn't seen them yesterday. But then, stranger things had happened. Hadn't they? Squinting into the sun, Cap realized he couldn't really remember a stranger thing than this particular moment. It was something out of a surrealist painting. He sighed and dug around in his bag. At least he'd done the smart thing and come prepared. Pushing past the sunscreen and snacks, he grabbed two Pokeballs: one empty and one with a particularly feisty Salazzle that he thought might be just the Pokemon for the job. So much for a relaxing day at the beach.
